"What are you doing here, old man?" Austin asked. He was curious on seeing an old acquaintance after such a long time.

He didn't expect that he'd run into the Earth Hermit in the Northern Mine District. It was like meeting the most unexpected person

He had doubts as to why the Earth Hermit was in a disguise.

sleeve, he got them into the warship. The ship flew towards the area where the perilous mines were located.

A few minutes later the warship landed in a desolated area.

Mines could be seen here and there in that area.

The location had becimportant as the flying demonic monkey had cback to life in this place.

People thronged from various places after hearing about the return of the flying demonic monkey.

Many ships, warships, chariots and monstrous beasts which were used to pull the chariots floated above the mines.

Austin sensed the waves spread in all directions. There was a terrifying amount of vital energy present all around.

It was evident that many strong cultivators had gathered there.

He also spotted lots of mine workers there. Swere going in while others were walking out of those countless mines.

And soon more than seven thousand miners followed Elder Jordan out of the warship. The team reached an area which was vacant,

Elder Jordan said to the miners, showing them the place where they were supposed to work.

A few stewards and a bunch of principal disciples of the Rudimentary Holy Land joined in. They started to divide those workers into

groups and showed them spots where they had to dig.

Luckily, Austin and the Earth Hermit were put in one group.

The two of them followed the other miners to the mine and started working. They didn't want to invite anyone's attention so they

quietly joined the miners.

A day passed off in this manner.

Austin and the Earth Hermit were about a thousand meters deep in the ground.

All of a sudden, a mine worker who was in front of the group let out a scream.

"I think there are crystals ahead of us!"

he gushed in excitement.

An experienced, old miner reached that man and looked in the distance, in the direction he was pointing at.

The other miners including Austin followed him after hesitating for a while. They were equally keen to see what the Earth Hermit

was talking about.

It took them a few minutes to reach a spacious hall.

"Oh Jesus! There are so many special ruling crystals here!"

all the miners exclaimed in surprise as soon as they stepped into the lobby.

The underground hall occupied an area of a few thousand square meters.

They were dumbfounded by what they saw. The room was full of huge special ruling crystals.

"There are many ruling crystals with strange creatures in them. Oh my god! This is another perilous mine.

Run!"

one of the miners bellowed to the rest of the men.

He was startled to notice that there were weird creatures sealed in those ruling crystals.

His words rattled the other mine workers. Sof them were so scared that their legs turned limp before they sat on the ground.

Their face blanched due to sheer fright. In a few minutes, they recovered from their shock. Quickly they turned around and started

to run away. Those who were still sitting on the ground got up hurriedly and made their escape. In a matter of moments, there was

no one but Austin and Earth Hermit left in the hall.

"What are we going to do, old man?"

Austin asked as he stared at the Earth Hermit.

The Earth Hermit walked up to those ruling crystals which had those strange things sealed within. He had a closer look at them.

"What's going on?

These things that were sealed in these ruling crystals are our kind. They were humans too,"

the Earth Hermit said with untold shock written all over his face.

Austin was more shocked than the Earth Hermit. He dashed towards the latter.

The scene that unfolded shocked him to the core. There were human cultivators in several ruling crystals which lay before his eyes.

On observing keenly, he saw that they were elders who were wearing ancient regalia.

"I got it! This old man is wearing the clothes that the people of the Arcane Holy Land wore in ancient times. Look, there are three

purple dots on his collar. The purple dots is the symbol of the Arcane Holy Land.

Looks like this this guy was from the Arcane Holy Land and belonged to ancient times,"

the Earth Hermit said, looking startled.

the Earth Hermit said, as he pointed at an elder in another ruling crystal.

"Really?"

Austin screamed in astonishment.

"Yeah. Many top masters from top sects in the ancient period were sealed here.

They are not evil things.

Still, | think we should get out of here.

The powerful cultivators from the top sects will be here in a second," the Earth Hermit said.

He turned around in a bid to leave the hall.

miners who had escaped out of that mine.
