The Supreme God of Martial Arts

Following the disciples from the three holy lands, many of those from other sects had soon set foot on the golden path as well. As

they arrived in the path, they proceeded to their quest with caution. All of them pursed their lips into a tight line. Their careful

footsteps echoed loudly throughout the whole space. All their weapons were raised as they were ready to fight or defend at the

smallest sign of movement.

It didn't take them long until they saw the end of the path, because it was only around two hundred meters. But it was undoubtedly

a nerve-wracking journey for all of them.

"Let's go and see what lies ahead, shall we?"

Stacy suggested with a wave of her hand. When she finished speaking, she took the lead and flew towards the golden path. Austin

immediately trailed behind her.

"Well, well, let's see if they can really get into the palace with their poor array skills. What a pack of fools."

Just then, the man's voice spoke again from the bead in Austin's Soul Sea. Austin was confused, but before he could ask questions

or figure out why he had said that, bad things had already happened.

Puff! Puff! Puff!

The whole golden path began bristling with danger as beams of golden lights flashed across it like numerous knives cutting in.

"Ahhhh..."

As soon as they saw the sharp beams of light, short and ear-piercing screams followed. A forceful and invisible power bombarded

those who were sdistance into the path. Their bodies twisted before falling to the ground like a discarded waste. Soon, almost

forty top warriors were killed without even being able to fight back, all of whom were at the Emperor Realm.

Only a few of them could react in tand flee the sudden strike. They were lucky to escape and did not meet the sfate as

the others.

While the rest who had just stepped onto the path simply froze in shock and fear after witnessing what happened. It was lucky that

Stacy and Austin didn't get too close.

"This golden path is full of cruel and powerful arrays, the most complicated and tricky ones. I'm afraid there is no hope of passing it

without the help of an array expert who has a good knowledge on arrays set in narrow spaces like this," said one of the disciples

from the Vasteras Holy Land.

He managed to finish his words despite his pale face and his trembling lips. His heart was still fluttering wildly because of the fear

of seeing the horrifying scene.

The young man had sknowledge of various arrays, which made him a little more sensitive about them than others. He hadn't

taken many steps on the golden path before he realized that something wasn't right. It was when he hesitated for a moment at ten

meters or so into the passage that the tragedy happened. He was lucky enough to escape successfully.

"Oh, really? It's built just forthen."

In the dead silence, a tall and imposing young man suddenly declared and strode towards the golden path. Everyone watched him

closely.

"It's Josh, from the Mysterious Taoist Sect," someone in the crowd cried out.

He recognized the confident young man at once.

There were loud whispers exchanged among all the warriors present. It seemed that Josh's presence had lifted their spirits a lot.

The Mysterious Taoist Sect was also one of the top sects in the East Mainland. This sect was known for its many top array masters,

among whom the sect's superior elder--Master Terrell--was the most powerful one in the whole mainland.

What was more was that many disciples of this sect was rumored to be equipped not only with good martial arts skills, but also of

good array knowledge and techniques.

It was only expected that someone from the sect was an excellent array master.

It just so happened that Josh was one of those experts with the matter at hand.

Although he was only an outer disciple in the Mysterious Taoist Sect, he might have been the best among his peers. He was at the

medium stage of Emperor Realm, and most importantly, he mastered profound array skills.

It was an amazing fact that he had already beca level-six array expert at such a young age. It was not a surprise and totally

understandable why everyone would have high hopes for him.

"We are so lucky to have you here, Josh. I'm sure you can break all the arrays on this golden path quite easily,"

one of the warriors from the Arcane Holy Land stepped up and said. The young man in purple then cupped his hands and bowed

slightly to Josh to greet him and to show his gratitude as well.

The man who just spoke was none other than the head of the team from Arcane Holy Land. He was at the premium stage of

Emperor Realm, but he still showed much respect for Josh.

This was because he could tell that Josh was really talented in terms of arrays. He even believed that the young man would grow

into a top array master in the future.

Most people would show someone like Josh the srespect. Generally, warriors with top special skills such as pill refining,

weapon casting, array setting, and array breaking were very popular in the martial world. Many sects, including the most powerful

ones, would try as much as they could to draw those talents to join them.

That was why even the warriors from the Arcane Holy Land would be this respectful towards Josh.

"Oh, Lance, good to see you here. I'm so flattered, really.

But you can be sure that | will try my best,"

Josh replied while he cupped his hands to greet the man. After an exchange of polite words, he turned around to face the path and

adjusted his breath. With much fascination, he stared at the shining runes on the surface of the path as he began to analyze them.

While he was at it, everyone else held their breath and stood there almost motionless. They all waited to see how Josh was going to

break those powerful arrays.

Everybody was nervous and excited at the stas they all wondered how things would unfold. After all, those were not just

ordinary arrays, but a horrifying one that had killed nearly forty Emperor Realm warriors in the blink of an eye. Although they didn't

show it, they were worried about Josh. He seemed to be the only one now that dared to take the risks.
