Madelyn turned around and was about to leave, but Zach’s expression had already turned unpleasant. He reached
over to grab her slender waist and whispered in her ear, “If you don’t listen to me, I’ll get angry! Maddie, you know

The manager put on a smile and pretended that he had heard nothing.
Zach tightened his grip on Madelyn’s waist as he picked the largest bed in the store in front of her.
Madelyn gritted her teeth and they spent nearly an hour shopping before purchasing everything they needed. What
puzzled her most was that Zach also bought a custom–made pink sola.
After buying the furniture, Madelyn said, “I want to go back now. I’m tired and need some rest.”
Zach looked at his watch. “It’s still early.”
Madelyn felt like she was just here to entertain him.
