Chapter 1810

Ellinor picked up a glass of orange juice with a light and nonchalant expression on her face. “I’m not bothered. But

you, it’s your big day today. Don’t let unimportant people ruin your mood.”

Belinda gently patted her face. “Right! I need to stay in a good mood and look my best. I can’t let a wicked woman

get to me.”

Chase brought over a pair of flats and noticed Belinda’s furrowed brows. “What’s wrong? Your feet hurt?”

Belinda huffed. “I blame you! How could you arrange security so poorly that an unwanted guest got in?!”

Chase hadn’t seen Sophia come in. He crouched down to help her change shoes. “What happened? Who came in?”

“Ask Ellinor! Didn’t a wicked woman just come to bring me bad luck?” Belinda pointed her chin towards Ellinor, only

to find that the seat where Ellinor had just been sitting was now empty.

“Huh? Where’s Ellinor? She was just here.” She looked over at the kids, but Ellinor wasn’t there either.

Chase helped her into her flats and stood up, taking her hand to help her up. “Alright! Boss will be back. Don’t

furrow your brows. Let’s go greet your relatives on my behalf, okay?”

Belinda’s cheeks were a rosy red as she got up. After looking at her handsome husband, her sour mood instantly

lifted.

It still felt like a dream. This man had truly formed a new family with her; he was truly hers.

Ellinor walked alone to the back garden of the wedding venue, where there was a small pond. It was very serene.

The wedding guests all preferred the hustle and bustle, so they wouldn’t come here.

She took out her phone and sent a message to that man. [Where are you?]

One minute, two minutes, then twenty minutes passed, but no reply came.

Sophia had said earlier that the man had already flown back to M State. Was it true?

Why didn’t he say anything before he left? He had clearly recovered his memory.

Having experienced a major loss once, Ellinor now lacked a sense of security. She didn’t understand why he couldn’t

simply send her a message. Why didn’t he let her know?

Was it that difficult?

“Boss, what are you thinking about here all alone?”

Ida’s voice came from behind her.

Ellinor came back to her senses and turned to look at Ida, who had come up to her, lightly pursing her lips.

“Nothing; it’s just a little too noisy over there. I wanted some quiet.”

Ida looked at Ellinor with concern. “Are you worried about Mr. Blanchet?”

Ellinor’s brows were slightly furrowed. “No. He should be just fine now. He doesn’t need me to worry about him.”

Ida let out a light sigh. “Our people found out that Sophia had Mr. Blanchet and Tristan sent to the airport to catch

the earliest flight back to M State this morning.”

Upon hearing Ida’s report, Ellinor’s heart seemed to be tightly gripped by something. So, it was true. He really left

without saying a word.

“Boss, what should we do now?” Ida asked for instructions.

Ellinor squinted her eyes. “We proceed as planned. As for that man, if he runs away this time, I can still catch him.”

“Yes!” Ida nodded. “Also, Boss, there’s one more thing.”

Ellinor raised an eyebrow. “What?”

“I found out that Lady Lotus might be in the country.”

What? Ellinor’s dark face suddenly showed shock. “What did you say?”

Ida truthfully told her about what she saw at the hospital the day before yesterday. As well as the results of the

investigation by her men.

Ellinor’s pupils violently trembled. She suddenly thought back to how Bertha and her daughter, who had come to

see her the day before yesterday, said they wanted to introduce her to an old acquainta
