Chapter 1340
Theo quietly held Ellinor and carried her into the car. She then fell into a deep sleep.
She hadn’t had a chance to ask him what had happened.
At the police station.
Theo’s tall figure stood outside the interrogation room, waiting for the police’s verdict.
At that moment, Marissa Blanchet and Putnam Blanchet rushed over to the police station after hearing the news.
Veronica came in and saw her brother, whom she thought was dead. She couldn’t control herself; she ran over,

Theo gently patted Veronica’s head. “It’s okay; don’t cry. I’m right here, aren’t I?”
Veronica looked up at Theo’s face as she continued to sob. She was close enough to touch it. “What happened?
Why did the police say you were blown up? You scared the hell out of me, Grandma, and Grandpa!”
Theo couldn’t say much more in this situation.
“Theo, you little rascal! You must think I’ve lived too long. You didn’t even call home when you were okay. Are you
trying to give me and your grandpa a heart attack?” Marissa, supported by a maid from the house, came over
while cursing and wiping her tears.
“You little bastard, you even kept this from your grandpa!” Putnam, who was being pushed in a wheelchair by a
servant, scolded him sternly, but his eyes were visibly red.
Theo gently pushed Veronica away and came over to them, bending over respectfully. “I’m sorry, Grandpa and
Grandma. I’ve made you worried.”
Marissa reached out and pulled his arm, and only after feeling his warmth did she truly relax. “It’s okay as long as
you’re alive and well. You can’t scare us like this again. We’re too old for this kind of shock!”
Putnam frowned and hummed, “He wants a next time? If there is a next time, I will really disown this kid!”
Marissa glanced at him. “Can’t you just talk nicely? You were clearly crying at home!”
Putnam frowned. “Who was crying?”
Marissa widened her eyes. “You!”

sit over there for a while. I still have some things to deal with.” Veronica immediately nodded and took her
grandparents to the waiting area on the other side of the police station.
Just as Theo turned around and was about to walk down the corridor, a woman suddenly hugged him from behind.
“Theo, thank God! You’re okay! I was scared to death.”
Sophia rushed to the police station as soon as she got the news.
Theo’s face was cold, and he gently removed Sophia’s hands from him. “Thank you for your concern. I’m okay.”
After being pushed away, Sophia didn’t cling to him again but moved to Theo’s front, checking him from head to
toe, and only relaxed after confirming that he wasn’t hurt.
