Sophie’s iPhone was only worth 10,000 dollars.

However, the phone she thought was low–end cost 18,000 dollars.

Sophie’s face reddened and burned as she thought about what she had just said.

Caitlyn did not hear the conversation and only looked curiously at the box in her hand.

“How come I never knew there were phones that cost more than the iPhone?”

Sophie asked Albert after gritting her teeth slightly.

“Because you can’t get it even if you can afford it.

“It was sold out as soon as it went on sale.

“You can’t get it if you have no connections.”

Albert shook his head before glancing at Sean with mixed feelings.

He realized that he seemed to have underestimated Sean.

After all, not many people could spend 20 thousand dollars on a phone.

If he did not have millions of dollars in fortune, who would use such a good phone?

Did Sean receive millions of dollars for discharging from the army?

Albert remained silent, and Sophie silently put away her phone and stopped talking.

“Albert, I have two things to say. Listen well.

“I won’t say anything if you wanna help out at the orphanage.

“But I’ll kill you if you have any funny ideas.”

Sean stepped forward and touched Albert’s chest. His tone was icy.

Sean turned his head and said to Caitlyn.

“Shopping for clothes.”

Sean said indifferently after glancing at Sophie’s designer outfit.

Sean had heard everything Sophie said.

Caitlyn was slightly hesitant. She did not want Sean to spend too much money.

“Come on, Catie.

“We’ll be done in a minute.”

May nearby said, also smiling.

She would not let Caitlyn leave with Albert and Sophie for money.

However, May was supportive that Sean wanted to take Caitlyn away–wherever they were going.

Caitlyn nodded and walked over to Sean.

Sean reached for Caitlyn’s hand and started walking outside.

With Sean grabbing her hand, Caitlyn was a little shy. After all, she was a big girl now, so her face was

blushing a little.

However, Sean was fine with it. He always thought of Caitlyn as a little sister.

Albert and Sophie watched them leave, feeling upset.

Caitlyn looked at the phone over and over. She liked it but still gave it to Sean.

Sean waved his hand and said with a smile.

“I’m your brother. Don’t be a stranger.”

Sean said with a smile as he reached out and touched Caitlyn’s little nose.

“Okay. Hehe…”

Caitlyn wrinkled her little nose and agreed happily.

She knew nothing about new phone launches and had never paid attention to these expensive electronic

products. Therefore, she did not know the price.

“Here, let me help you put in the SIM card.”

Sean sat in the driver’s seat and opened the box.

“Okay!”

Caitlyn held out the phone and leaned her head over to see.

The phone was taken out. It was silver–colored and quite modern.

“Wow… Nice, nice.”

Caitlyn loved the phone even more after seeing the phone.

The phone had a large screen, but once you opened the fold–out screen, it would instantly become a

smart pad, doubling the screen area.

“I can’t believe how cheap phones are now. You can buy a good phone for 1,000 dollars.”

Caitlyn took the phone with her SIM card inserted and flipped it back and forth to look at it.

“Yeah…”

Sean chuckled and did not explain. Then he started the car and drove away.

Caitlyn was fiddling with her new phone when a call came through.

“Hello? Caitlyn, where are you?

“Never mind. You must be in the orphanage, right?

“I’ll send you a location. Hurry over. Let’s have a meal together.”

A girl’s voice came from the other end of the line. She seemed to be in a hurry too.

“No, I’m not going. I’m busy…”

Caitlyn shook her head and answered.

“Oh, you never come. What are you doing?

“I know it’s not easy for you to make money. You don’t have to go Dutch this time. Someone’s treating us

this time. We’ll be waiting for you!”

The girl hung up after she finished speaking.

Caitlyn shook her head helplessly and tried to call back.

“What’s the matter?”

Sean asked quietly as he drove.

“My classmate asked me to join them for a meal, but I don’t want to.

“Some of my classmates have always looked out for me. I don’t want them to help me too much.”

Caitlyn shook her head slightly before sighing and looking out of the window.

She also made a few good friends at school. They were kind to her when they found out about her

background.

Caitlyn would like to repay them, but she could not, so she was embarrassed even to meet them.

Sean turned his head to glance at Caitlyn, and he could see the inferiority in her eyes.

After all, girls her age were particular about their dress and lifestyle.

Caitlyn was so preoccupied with the orphanage that she had no time to do her own thing.

She needed to socialize and have friends.

However, she dared not socialize because of her financial situation.

“Give me the address. I’ll go with you.

“You said they were nice to you. I’ll treat them to a meal to thank them.”

Sean smiled and said quietly.
