Chapter 584: Leaving the Training!
After the battle, Aakesh appeared in the selection Area.
There was still some time left before Lily would exit her environment, so Aakesh decided to do another round of training in a different surroundings since his entry to the last one had gotten restricted for the day.
Time flew by.
The silence inside the selection area suddenly broke down as the space crack opened, and not long after, Lily stepped out of it.
Lily didn’t see Aakesh there, so she asked the system for her chair and sat down on it.
Several years ago, Lily and Aakesh had made a routine of conversing and sharing their experiences toward training or other random things during the day. It had now become a tradition after so long, and she had no plans to break it today.
Time flew by.
A few minutes after Lily exited her training, the silence inside the selection area broke again as a similar space crack appeared. From it, Aakesh stepped out.
A gentle smile spread across Aakesh’s face as he saw Lily waiting on her chair for him.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe current Lily had the same size as her since she didn’t like looking like a child in comparison to Aakesh when they shared their experiences. Yet out of respect for Aakesh, Lily would never grow her size more than Aakesh and would always be 1 cm lower than his height.
Aakesh also asked for the system and sat on it.
“So, what happened today?” Aakesh asked Lily as she looked at him with unblinking eyes.
“Nothing major. I just defeated someone one level higher than me,” Lily replied. She wanted to sound as if it wasn’t a big deal, but her chest poofing and the pride in her voice gave her up.
Time flew by.
Aakesh and Lily shared their experiences with each other. When it came to an end, Aakesh and Lily both left the selection area and appeared back in the store.
The next moment, the door of Aakesh’s room appeared, floating in the air. Not long after, a stair connecting it to the floor emerged.
Lily looked at Aakesh and then took a step forward.
After reaching the top, Lily entered the room, and not long after, the door automatically closed on its own.
The smile on Aakesh’s face disappeared, and it then turned expressionless since Lily was no longer there.
With an expressionless face, Aakesh turned in the direction of the portal room and took a step forward.
After entering the room, Aakesh’s eyes fell on the leaderboard section as usual.
Aakesh nodded in appreciation as he saw that all the names were full, and even the lowest-ranked adventurer had breached the Level 100 mark.
On the top was Maria, the first customer of the store. Winning the territory had absolutely bombarded her with fortune.
The second-ranked was Evelyn, the deputy head of the organization Skylord.
If not for Evelyn, Maria would have already gotten demoted to rank two.
Evelyn had supported her with much intensity. So much so that not even one of the leveling stones went toward any organization member other than Maria. It gave her a significant headstart, and she breached the Level 100 mark when the second-ranked adventurer was only around Level sixty.
Not only that, even after Maria breached the Level 100 mark, the organization, in the lead of Evelyn, dedicated a single day of every week toward the quests or helped Maria to gain XPs.
Maria also understood it, so Maria also rewarded more powers over the organization, Skylord, to Evelyn for her hard work.
Maria was Level 198 on the leaderboard, while the second-ranked Evelyn was Level 187, eleven levels below Maria.
The third-ranked adventurer on the leaderboard was Eris. Eris had won the first-ranked territory in the first event and also had a protection period of five years.
No one knew why Eris was third despite having the most affluential territory in Panagea with a protection period of five years. Since Eris didn’t like mingling with others and didn’t share anything related to the land with Robert, the only person he somewhat talked with, the reason would always be a mystery. Eris was Level 182 on the leaderboard.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThe fourth-ranked adventurer was Liz, the only customer to win the event related to the territory in Panagea twice. She was Level 173.
Aakesh then looked for a few more names to see if someone advanced by ranks, but after seeing the top hundred adventurers, he found it similar to what he had been looking for for the past several years. Not even a single new customer had made its way into that rank.
Aakesh then moved his eyes away and looked toward the closest virtual portal since there was nothing further interesting to see.
Aakesh then touched the stars fluctuating in the portal with the tip of his finger.
The next moment, a suction force much stronger than anything he could muster to fight emerged from the portal and sucked Aakesh inside. The next moment, the stars dimmed down as they turned grey, announcing that it wasn’t vacant anymore.
Aakesh disappeared from the portal room and appeared in the spot where he had left the earlier morning to start the store for the day.
Aakesh looked around as a room filled with plain walls welcomed him.
Aakesh was currently sleeping on a bed. He then looked in his front to see a lady standing there with her head looking at the ground.
“Adventurer, you are awake,” Hearing the movement caused by Aakesh’s arrival at Panagea, the lady rose her head as she looked at Aakesh expressionlessly looking at her.
Aakesh expressionlessly nodded in response. He then stood up and moved away from the bed.
“Why are you here?” Aakesh expressionlessly asked as he looked at the sky, standing in front of the balcony.
Aakesh was standing on a balcony, several hundred meters higher than the surface. When Aakesh looked down, it wasn’t the ground that welcomed him but the sea. As far as he could see, he found clear-blue water.
It was an alone building, standing in the midst of a sea that would rage destruction regularly.
Aakesh was here as he had a quest to do.
“Adventurer, my father wishes to see you,” The lady respectfully answered Aakesh, who was still looking at the sky.
