Chapter 493: The Central Ruler(2)

Aakesh didn’t have to think hard, and he got the answer to his question straight away. He decided to continue here till the end and then leave.

He then took a deep breath. His face returned to its usual expressionless as if Aakesh hadn’t gotten a shocking piece of information.

Autumn heaved a sigh of relief, seeing Aakesh returning to his regular. Katrina felt curious as she wanted to know the reason behind Aakesh’s reaction. Aakesh was healthy, which meant that ‘He’ had no hand in Aakesh’s sudden actions, or Aakesh wouldn’t have been able to stand here.

Even she couldn’t survive if ‘He’ took action, let alone Aakesh, who was weaker than her.

“How did you survive?” Katrina asked, with curiosity laced in her voice.

Hearing the question, Autumn glared at Katrina, but Katrina ignored it and stared at Aakesh. It was the most pressing question in her mind, and she wanted to know the answer.

Aakesh ignored Katrina’s question and looked at the sky as if he sensed something watching over him.

As expected, the familiar eyes were there silently looking at Aakesh. Katrina and Autumn followed Aakesh’s sight and felt their blood running cold, seeing the pair of eyes.

The pair of eyes in the sky had black sclera to such an extent that even the sun would fail to disperse the darkness. They had silver pupils, whose splendor would even put the gold to shame, and then finally, the orange irises, which looked like raging flames.

“Creator!”

“Creator!”

Autumn and Katrina respectfully greeted as they knelt down with their faces touching the ground.

The pair of eyes in the sky ignored the duo of Katrina and Autumn and only looked at Aakesh.

This time, Aakesh didn’t feel the same pressure again. Neither he felt his blood running cold nor did his body tremble out of fear for the eye.

Aakesh suddenly felt a headache, forcing him to move his eyes away and stop having a direct clash with the pair of eyes in the sky. But he persisted and continued, resulting in his eye veins popping out.

His eyes were on the verge of exploding when suddenly the pair of eyes blinked and then disappeared, resulting in the disappearance of any pressure at all on him.

Autumn and Katrina continued kneeling without attempting to look in the sky even once.

“Isn’t he fun,” Lilith commented with a playful voice.

“Yes, things have become interesting,” A voice rang in response to Lilith. The figure was seated in the dark. When the figure opened his eyes, light spread across the area, clearing the darkness as if the sun had risen. The being’s eyes were similar to the pair of eyes in the sky Aakesh had clashed with a moment earlier.

“Just what are they planning even to let someone like him exist in the first place?” The figure then muttered in a voice loud enough for no one to hear other than himself.

Lilith didn’t respond but focused on Aakesh, and no one knew what she was thinking at that moment.

The figure then closed his eyes, and soon the entire area that had just seen the light got engulfed in darkness, never to know when the light would touch the surface again.

“The eyes have gone,” Aakesh expressionlessly informed the duo, kneeling on the ground.

Katrina and Autumn heaved a sigh of relief at the same time as they looked up and again heaved a sigh of relief, seeing that the eye didn’t appear again. They then finally stood up.

Katrina and Autumn then looked at Aakesh, only for Aakesh to notice that both the central rulers, who were way higher than him in strength, stared at him with respect in their eyes.

“How did you do it?” Katrina asked Aakesh as the veins were still visible in Aakesh’s eyes.

“Just who are you?” Before Aakesh could even say something, Katrina asked another question. Her voice was agitated as she felt unable to believe what she saw.

The popped veins across Aakesh’s eyes showed that Aakesh attempted a direct clash with the pair of eyes in the sky. According to what Katrina knew of ‘Him’, ‘He’ would never let someone survive if they attempted to challenge him, but here, Aakesh was alive without any injury.

“What did you mean by ‘Creator’?” Aakesh ignored the questions asked by Katrina and asked what he wanted to know.

“First, answe-”

“‘He’ is the creator of this continent and every life that exists here.”

Katrina wanted to argue with Aakesh for ignoring her questions and asking his own, but before she could even complete her sentence, Autumn cut her words off midway and answered.

After hearing what Autumn said, Aakesh felt surprised. What he conjectured was even verified by the system, but the creation part went beyond his expectation.

But since the system verified it, Aakesh didn’t believe his conjecture to be wrong.

‘Is the system wrong, or does the things have already gone past the capability?’ Aakesh thought in his heart as his conjectures were already too terrifying for him to even think about, let alone when he added additional power like creation to it.

“Now that you’ve got your response. Answer my questions,” Katrina broke the silence and told Aakesh.

“Have you seen him face to face?” As usual, Aakesh ignored Katrina and asked Autumn.

Hearing Aakesh using the same casual tone to refer to ‘Him’, Autumn and Katrina felt their breathing stuck since they didn’t want to face the same pressure again. The last thing they wanted was the reemergence of the pair of eyes.

“JUST, WHO ARE YOU?” Katrina couldn’t control her emotions and angrily yelled.

“No, I haven’t. Only one person has, and she is the most powerful central ruler and the first life that originated on this continent. She controls every central ruler and has no restrictions on her,” Autumn ignored Katrina like Aakesh and answered his question.

‘Am I invisible?’ Katrina couldn’t help but think, seeing both Aakesh and Autumn ignoring her.

“You-”

“Where would I meet this figure?” Katrina wanted to say something, but Aakesh cut her sentence off midway and asked Autumn another question.

As if it was the last nail in the coffin, Katrina sat on the ground with a pouting face. She had been trying to ask questions, but all she got in answer was getting ignored.
