Chapter 329 – Surprise
Chapter 329: Surprise
"I attempted something I shouldn't have, and it almost killed me," Trihan whispered into his son's ears in response.
Even thinking about the terror Trihan had felt only for a second, he couldn't help but shudder in fear. Even those countless deaths were nothing to what he had felt at that moment.
A confused expression appeared on Kuriati's face, hearing his father. "What do-"
Kuriati wanted his father to explain the situation, but his father suddenly cut his question in half and gestured him to stop asking about that.
Seeing the solemn look on his father's face, Kuriati had no choice but to stop asking any more questions.
Trihan heaved a sigh of relief, seeing his son stopping. He then looked at Aakesh, who was relaxing on his chair. He took a step forward and approached him.
Aakesh, sensing footsteps coming closer, opened his eyes and noticed Trihan coming toward him after exiting the weapons room.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Eh!" Aakesh suddenly exclaimed in surprise, seeing Trihan. He sensed something terrible that made even him feel a little bit of danger.
Aakesh masked his surprised expression right away. It all happened fast, but it couldn't be hidden from Trihan, who was one of the strongest beings in the Primal dimension.
Trihan didn't think much of that surprise as he believed it to be the upgrade of his strongest skill to be the reason behind it.
Trihan was off the mark. Aakesh didn't care which of his skill got upgraded. He didn't even know that Trihan had killed his opponent in the training area since he had told the system not to inform him what goes in the training area and Panagea, except the milestone rewards since he has to present the reward to the adventurer.
What gave Aakesh a sense of danger was the incomprehensible knowledge of the spear Trihan had gained after looking at the mural.
"Hey system, why does he have this knowledge?" Aakesh asked the system in his mind.
[Host, the Daitya in the mural chose to transfer the knowledge to the man since he has the unawakened [@#%@#] physique, and he's also the being with the highest bloodline purity related to their Asura race founder after the first Daitya, his son.]
The system responded in its usual mechanical and emotionless voice.
Hearing the system, Aakesh took a second look at Trihan. His bloodline density didn't matter to him, but the physique he would awake in the future was something worth talking to him.
"Store owner, can I have another hour of training in the Gods & Demons level training area since I have now killed the Hygar by cutting all of its six heads?" Trihan reached Aakesh and directly stated his purpose. When Trihan told Aakesh about him killing the Hygar and how he killed it, pride couldn't be hidden from his voice.
Aakesh had already told Trihan the limit of one training hour per year in the Gods & Demons level training area. But, Trihan thought that he had now killed the Hygar in the training area he would get the opportunity for another hour.
Aakesh had to take another look at Trihan after hearing that he had killed his opponent in that level of difficulty. But since Trihan had the [@#%@#] physique, his growth rate was always going to be monstrous, so winning was not impossible for him.
"No!" Aakesh then refused Trihan since there was no such offer that the customer would be able to do the training again after killing the opponent.
Hearing Aakesh's refusal, Trihan shook his head in disappointment. Since Aakesh had refused once, he didn't want to ask Aakesh again. He still remembered, how one of his fuckups had almost cost him his life just an hour earlier; after that, asking unnecessary questions would be the last thing he would do.
"Thank you, store owner. I will return tomorrow for Panagea." Since there was nothing left for Trihan to do, he thanked Aakesh and then gestured his son to leave with him.
Since he had the supreme card, he directly teleported back to his residence. Kuriati followed his father while his followers teleported back to Kuriati's place.
Aakesh returned back to his relaxing as Trihan was just another customer for the store.
Seconds turned into a minute, minutes turned into an hour, and just like that, four hours had passed.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm"Thank you, store owner," A customer thanked Aakesh for his service.
It was a female customer and was a citizen of the Bisan Kingdom. A mental demon had been stopping her cultivation to proceed further, so she had come here to the store to buy a mental healing pill.
After she had completed her purchase of three medium mental healing pills, she thanked the store owner and left the store owner.
Since there were no new customers, Aakesh was going to return back to his relaxation session, but he stopped. The next moment, tens of thousands of teleportations occurred in the store, as all the members of the Esh clan appeared to buy their quota of pills.
Since each of the clan members owned cards, they didn't need to ask Aakesh to buy the store products, except for the Immortal and the Gods & Demons level training area. So they bought their quota of three pills belonging to each category and grade, while the system automatically deducted payment from their cards.
Aakesh knew this. He didn't return to his relaxation session as for the last three days, members of this clan have been going to the training area, and that couldn't be done without his permission.
Aakesh had already completed around the one-third requirement of a thousand Gods & Demons level training hours due to the help of the Esh clan.
As Aakesh had expected after all the clan members had bought their respective pills, Veenesh, who was absent yesterday, approached him.
"How are you, store owner?" Veenesh asked with a smile on his face.
Aakesh only expressionlessly looked at Veenesh in response to his question.
Veenesh didn't get angry at Aakesh for ignoring his good wishes. He only smiled.
"Store owner, how many customers can go to the God & Demons level training area at the same time?" Veenesh asked and stated his purpose behind approaching Aakesh.
"As many as you can afford," Aakesh expressionlessly answered.. He may be expressionless on the outside, but inside he was excited since he would complete one of the two requirements of the quest today.
