The Deadly 983

Chapter 983 Do Something That'll Make You All Completely Crumble

The entire conference room fell silent as Simmond was sent flying by Robin's slap.

Simmond, the commander-in-chief of King Hawk, was known as the most elite member of his team.

A war god from Ugonland, he had served for years, participating in over a thousand intercontinental-level

battles. He had been an elite member five times and commander-in-chief twice, representing King Hawk Special

Forces in international military competitions. His achievements included second place once and five third-place

finishes-a record few could match.

In terms of personal power and leadership, Simmond was considered one of the world's top military figures.

Before Pierre rose to prominence, Simmond was widely regarded as the King of Mercenaries.

Yet, despite his reputation, this legendary war hero was knocked out by a single slap from the young commander

of Dragon Soul Special Forces.

What made the situation even more shocking was that Simmond hadn't even had the chance to fight back.

Is it pure luck, or has Simmond lowered his guard?

As the stunned silence stretched on, Robert, the commander-in-chief of Elaria Special Forces, slowly stood up

from the floor.

"General Yates, are you alright? This guy's out of control!" he said, rushing to Simmond's side, trying to help him

with overdone politeness.

"Shut it!" Simmond snarled, pushing Robert away, his eyes narrowing at Robin.

Robin stood there, towering over them, his figure radiating authority in the glowing light. He seemed as solid as

a mountain, exuding a quiet yet undeniable power. Simmond, who had spent nearly two decades as one of the

most feared figures in the mercenary world, had never been rattled by an opponent like this.

It wasn't fear-it was a deep, involuntary respect.

Powerful people respect strength. It's a silent acknowledgment that runs deeper than words.

Simmond, the war god, had little patience for the weak or sycophantic.

While he might joke around with commanders from teams like Elaira or Crocodile Special Forces, he viewed them

as nothing more than amateurs. Being in the sroom with these weak, sycophantic fools was beneath him.

Robert tried again to offer assistance, but Simmond shoved him aside.

"Move! | can stand on my own!" he snapped.

"Okay, okay," Robert muttered, embarrassed. "General Yates, that kid is too ... reckless!"

Simmond brushed the dust and debris from his clothes. "Keep your mouth shut! You're not fit to comment on

Commander-in-chief Ramsey!" Robert froze, clearly confused. "General Yates, he just insulted you. We should

team up and-"

"Team up?" Simmond sneered. "Do you think you matter? Get out of my way!"

With a forceful push, Simmond shoved Robert aside and turned to face Robin. "Commander-in-chief Ramsey, |

want a real duel with you!"

Robin, calmly wiping his hands, glanced at Simmond without any emotion. "You sure you want to get beaten?"

Simmond burst into laughter. "Commander-in-chief Ramsey, you're amusing. What | mean is, my friends and |

will challenge you!"

Ced Becker, the commander-in-chief of Maple Special Forces, and Paul Skeldon, the commander-in-chief of

Kangaroo Special Forces, stepped forward to stand beside Simmond. Both Ced and Paul had been Simmond's

comrades in arms.

Twenty years ago, the three of them had fought together in the South Panacea Fleet.

"Simmond, take a break. I'll handle this cocky kid! Paul said," slapping Simmond on the back and cracking his

neck.

Paul was even more muscular than Simmond.

His strength rivaled Simmond's, and in the South Panacea Ocean region, he was regarded as one of the most

formidable fighters.

Ced, commander-in-chief of Maple Special Forces, stretched and eyed Robin. "This competition's been strange. It

seems like if we don't teach this rookie a lesson, he won't learn his place." He then turned to Pierre, who had

been silent throughout. "Captain Pierre, am | wrong?"

Before Pierre could answer, Robin gave a dismissive snort. "We definitely need snew rules. Otherwise, you

idiots will keep thinking you're special."

D*mn!

This young Eastern commander's words were sharp-an unexpected display of audacity!

Everyone in the room stared at Robin, their faces twisted with disdain and anger.

It wasn't just arrogance; it was an outright humiliation.

Ced from Maple Special Forces growled, "Kid, are you calling us trash?"

"No, no!" Robin shook his head, unfazed. "I'm not just talking about you two. I'm saying every commander in this

room is garbage!" Are you serious?

The entire room was left in stunned silence, struggling to process what had just happened.

Cyril nearly collapsed from the shock.

It took a few moments for anyone to gather their thoughts.

The new commander-in-chief of Dragon Soul Special Forces is out of his mind, right?

He had the nerve to say something so bold and audacious!

It almost feels like he's deliberately trying to provoke every team in the competition!

Paul, visibly furious, burst out

laughing and pointed at Robin. "What a cocky little brat. You're definitely the most punchable guy I've ever met!

Don't you think so, Captain Pierre? What's your take?"

The room fell deathly quiet.

Everyone turned to glance at Pierre, the captain of Sea Lion Force.

It was no exaggeration-Pierre was a true powerhouse in this world.

His strength was unmatched, and his mere presence demanded respect. His imposing aura made everyone

instinctively lower their heads in his presence.

It was clear that Robin's defiance had targeted everyone, including Pierre himself.

Paul's words had shifted the focus of the situation to Pierre, and now everyone's attention was on him.

At that moment, every commander-in-chief in the room hoped Pierre would deliver a harsh lesson to this young,

cocky, yet somehow intimidating Eastern man. "It's true." Pierre nodded slowly, his response predictable.

Ced, the commander-in-chief of Maple Special Forces, laughed loudly. "Today, I'll teach this arrogant brat a thing

or two about humility!"

One by one, the other commanders joined in, all of them laughing along.

But as soon as Ced finished

speaking Pierre spoke again, his

voice steady and composed. "What |

mean is, Commander-in-chief

Ramsey is right-every team in this competition is garbage."

The smiles vanished from every commander's face.

Once again, the room fell into an oppressive silence.

After a moment, Ced chuckled nervously. "Captain Pierre, are you actually praising that little punk from the

East?"

"Well, since everyone's in such a

good mood, how about we do something that'll make you all

completely crumble?" Robin said et
