He ran his hand through his hair as he admitted, "Yes." Luisa took a step back. She couldn't believe she'd been foolish enough to think he'd sent the invite because of her.
'She knew she was being unreasonable because Alden never told her he was organizing this hangout for her. It was she and Thalassa who had assumed his intentions, so she had no right to feel this way-so betrayed.
