Chapter 16 Chapter 16 "Babe... you hit me?" Brandon asked in a stunned voice as he clutched his burning cheek Tears glistened in his eyes, but Thalassa knew it wasn't because of the slap. It was because he'd realized he had probably lost his money bank.

"You're a despicable piece of s**t!" Luisa was still raging as she slapped him on his uncovered cheek. You dared to try to makebelieve a lie about Thalassa." Brandon was panicking. "But babe, you can't possibly believe her. The recording is fake. That woman is nothing but a b**h who..." Before he could finish, a swift and hard blow connected with his mouth, sending him to the floor. "Another insult against Tha**a and you're going to see the worst I can do to you," Zeke growled. Brandon groaned in pain, clutching his mouth where a bit of blood was dripping.

"Brother-in-law, please believe me. I don't know how she got that recording, but it's not real. She- "Stop f**ng callingthat!" Zeke hissed. "I knew there was something off about you. I never liked you. I only tolerated you for my sister's sake, but now I'm glad she has realized what sort of garbage you are.

More panic flashed in Brandon's face as he scrambled onto his knees and grabbed Luisa's leg. Now he realized that denying it wasn't going to get him anywhere. He needed to try another method.

"Luisa, babe, my love, please forgive me. I don't know what cover me. You know how much I love you with every ounce of my being. She must've cast a spell on me." A bitter laugh escaped Luisa's mouth. "I bet Amanda also cast a spell on you." Her face contorted back with anger. "When I began to suspect that you were cheating onwith her, you madefeel like an insecure girlfriend with trust issues. Now I have no doubt that you were really sleeping with her." "No! There was nothing between Amanda and me, please believe me," Brandon pleaded.

Luisa sneered, "I don't care, Brandon. It's over between us. I don't want anything to do with you. I want you out of this house and out of my life. Let go of my leg." When Brandon continued holding on, Zeke growled, "She said let go of her leg!" But Brandon still held on, begging like a dog. "Babe, you can't do this to me. You can't let that s**id **h cbetween us." Zeke was angered, feeling like beating the idiot up, but before he could even take a step, Luisa herself lifted her free leg and jammed her knee into Brandon's face. Brandon fell, groaning in pain while Luisa shouted, "Don't speak about my friend like that ever again. She's a billion times better than a waste of a human being like you." Brandon got up, attempting to step towards Luisa again, but Zeke blocked his path.

"Listen here, we can do this the easy way, where you leave this house peacefully on your own, or I'll call security to kick you out." "But where am I supposed to go and sleep?" +25 BONUS Zeke scoffed. "You can sleep on the road and get run over by a car for all I care. After hurting my sister like this, you have no place here. Get out." Brandon finally realized how f**d he was. And it was all Thalassa's fault. He looked at her, his eyes blazing with anger.

"You" He was obviously going to call her a b**h again, but one stormy look from Zeke had him clamping his mouth shut Zeke was running out of patience, taking out his phone from his pocket to call the temporary security guard he'd hired in the past few weeks "I need you to cand get an idiot out of here right now," he spoke into the phone.

"No need to dragout. I will leave on my own," Brandon finally said. "I'll just go and get my belongings. Before he could go, Luisa stepped in front of him. "Your belongings?" she chuckled. "It was my money you used to buy those things, so they're all mine, and you're not leaving here with a single thing." Brandon was horrified. "So you're going to makeleave without any clothes?" "That's not all," Zeke stepped forward. "I'm going to cancel the return flight I booked for you, so you're going to have to figure out a way back to New York on your own." Brandon's eyes widened. "But... but that's not fair. We're in another city. How am I supposed to get back to New York? Zeke raised a brow. "Surely, being a grown man, you've worked enough to be able to buy yourself a plane ticket without my sister's financial assistance, right?" The security guard arrived. “Sir, who do you wantto take out?" "Him," Zeke pointed at Brandon. "Get him out of here and make sure you don't allow him any entry whatsoever." Despite Brandon's pleas, protests, and declarations of love for Luisa, the security guard dragged him out. With an ashamed look on her face, Luisa slowly walked to stand in front of Thalassa, who'd been observing everything wordlessly.

"I feel so ashamed even saying this, but please forgive me, Thalassa. I can't believe I allowed myself to manipulated by that wretched b**rd." be "Lusa, it's not your fault. That man is just a scoundrel, Zeke said, stepping forward to hug his sister from behind, but she suddenly pushed him away "Don't touch me, Zeke You're probably happy about ties, aren't you? You always warnedabout him, but I never listened. You must be happy that you were proven right." And then she broke into tears, sinking into one of the couches.

"Of course not, sister. Zeke attempted to step forward and speak, but Thalassa raised her hand to stop Chapter 16 him.

"Lettalk to her." +25 BONUS Karen Blade had just stepped out of the shower when her phone rang. Looking at the caller ID, she gritted her teeth before picking up the phone.

"What do you want?" "I want to see you, Karen," the voice of a man was heard.

"Why won't you stop pestering me?" Karen groaned.

"And why won't you be mine, Karen?” the man questioned. “Kris doesn't love you, Can't you see he's stil hung up on Thalassa?" The reminder pained Karen even more, but she said, “That'll change soon. Now that we've managed to get Thalassa out of the way, he's finally going to realize I'm the woman for him." Suddenly, the door to the room burst open, startling Karen. She spun around, gasping when she saw that it was her mother, Rita Blade, with a grim look on her face.

"Murn, how long were you standing there?" "What is it that I heard, Karen?" Rita Blade demanded. "That you managed to get Thalassa out of the way? Your own best friend? Are you the reason why Kris divorced Thalassa? If that's the case, then I'll tell Kris the truth myself!" Karen swallowed hard.
