Aurelia returned hafter a long day at the office, summoning her robot assistant, AideBot, with a casual wave.
"Boss, don't you think I've been offline too long?" AideBot's voice was playful and mirrored Leopold's, though in a much more compact form.

"I enjoy hanging out with you, boss. It's not the swhen you're not around." She snorted in amusement. "Alright, how about this? Charmcheery words, and I'll guarantee you get more playtime." "Boss, | want to give you the world, but then | realize you are my whole world. Others keep their heart to the left, but mine is wherever you are." Aurelia nearly choked on her water.
Oh my god! Was this cheesy flattery programmed by that ice-cold, cunning, and imperious ex-husband of hers? "I'm not a fan of those cheesy pick-up lines. I'd rather hear you say Leopold is a big bad wolf." AideBot shrugged in a very human-like manner. "Boss, your ex-husband is my creator. Without him, I wouldn't exist. | can't bad-mouth him." Aurelia felt her world spin. That sly fox Leopold had rigged the robot with limitations! She would have to get Kane to fix it when he got home.
While she was deep in thought, a deep voice cut through the silence. "If you want to hear sweet nothings, they should cfrom me." Aurelia was startled, spinning around only to find Leopold's strikingly handsface just inches away from hers.
Good heavens, did the man not know how to make a sound when he walked? "Did you program restrictions into this robot? You promised to be at my beck and call, but the robot can’t even say things about you!" Leopold shrugged. "Even robots have ethical guidelines and standards to uphold. The essence of Al is intelligence, the ability to think autonomously. If we had to program every response, what kind of ‘intelligence’ was it?" Aurelia marveled at the advancements of Sovereign Elite Group's Al technology. Autonomous thinking? Actual cognition? "By the way, I've finished that gift for you." Leopold looked surprised. "So soon?" Aurelia fished out a box from her bag.
He opened it to find an intricately designed crystal coffee mug.
"Why a mug?" She smiled, her eyes curving like crescents. "I designed and made it myself. You can use it for your daily coffee." Leopold pulled her close, his lips curving into a sly grin. "So, every t| drink from it, it's like an indirect kiss? Clever." Aurelia felt her head spin with his twisted logic.

"What if one day | ended up in the hospital? Would you worry about me?" Of course, she would. She never wanted Leopold to get hurt.
"If you did, I'd probably take the chance to remarry. Strike while the iron's hot, right?" A flicker of pain crossed Leopold's face, waves of disappointment cresting within him.
"Do you care so little for me?" Aurelia pinched his nose playfully. "Weren't you the swithonce? Anyway, if you don't wantrunning off, you'd better stay on your toes and avoid traps." Leopold feigned agony. "Is this your revenge?" She pursed her lips in mock seriousness. "Yep. I'm petty and vengeful, remember?"
