| must've fallen asleep in the back of the town car. Pregnancy has madeextremely lethargic. I look out the
window and see that we're not even close to
Jasmine’s. | think we're going the completely wrong way. | knock on the privacy window and ask if we've taken a
wrong turn but get no response.
| knock again and watch in horror as | see the guy smiling in the front seat.
“You're not Leo's driver. Who are you?”
“Don’t worry, sweetheart. We're just making a quick detour.” He laughs huskily.
| begin to panic and try to open the door as he pulls into a warehouse but the doors are locked and not from the
inside. | quickly grab my phone to call Leo. | wait while it rings, praying he would pick up but it goes to voicemail.
He must've left it in the car while accompanying Charlotte to the doctor. | try to call for help but my phone
service goes out. | cower as | see the man get out of the car and points a gun atinstructingto get out
and follow his directions.
“Please don’t hurt me, I'm pregnant.” | plead for my child.
“Just get out of the damn car. We're going to go for

a little walk.” He smiles creepily.
| get out carefully, looking around for any sign of help or an escape. It was just a bunch of warehouse buildings.
He then grabs my arm forcefully and
leadsto one with a tower inside.
“Walk!” He says as | feel the gun pressed against my back. | walk slowly and carefully into the building.
“The stairs.” | hear from behind me. | carefully make my way up the stairs one step at a time. | reach the top and
feel him let go of my arm. | feel a sense of relief until | feel his hand entangle in my hair.
“Sorry for the little fall you're about to have.” He laughs and | realize what he means just as he yanks my head
back and | tumble down four flights of stairs. Once | hit the ground below, | sob. My whole body ached after each
metal step. | could feel blood coming down from my temple, scrapes and bruises forming all over and my
stomach began having sharp pains.
Why was he doing this?
| try to get up to run but am in seething pain and the room feels as though it’s spinning. | hear the man’s
footsteps coming down the stairs. He stops at he stands in front ofas | lie on the floor.
