190 Shouldn’t you be calling Captain Evan
Crvena smiled at Zi Han and said, “I heard from a little bird that someone might be joining our team. Shouldn’t you be calling Captain Evan?”
While saying this he shifted his gaze towards Yi Chen with a mocking smile. But when he met that deadly gaze the smile on his face vanished.
Feeling an inexplicable sense of danger he took a step back but Evan stood his ground. He still held a grudge over that night and couldn’t wait to have a face to face confrontation with Yi Chen.
He had been training hard for the past few weeks and he thought he was on par with him and could win in a fight.
The two of them glared at each other with the air pressure around them extremely tense. One spark was all it would take to ignite the gun powder concentrated around them.
Just when they thought they would break into a fight, Zi Han showed a conceited smile before saying, “Not going to happen, now move along. We have a lot of work to do.”
As soon as he said this Yi Chen wrapped his arm around Zi Han’s collarbone pulling him back in a possessive manner his gaze provocative.
Evan sneered before walking away. Soon after Li Ran rushed into the training room with Hela following behind him. When he saw that Yi Chen’s face wasn’t right he asked, “Who offended you?”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtZi Han nudged his head towards Evan who was sitting on the bleachers staring at them. Li Ran let out a light chuckle while saying, “He has been really playing with fire lately. Maybe he really does have a death wish.”
.....
Hela didn’t say anything she just stared at the strong arm holding Zi Han across his chest. For a moment her soul flew straight to fujoshi heaven to share the gossip then came back for more.
She grasped Li Ran’s arm a couple of times before dragging him away. “Ran Ran may I speak to you for a moment,” she said while pulling him away.
As soon as they were furthest enough he asked, “What’s up?” expecting to talk about their relationship which hadn’t been confirmed yet. Baby steps, right?
“No, it’s nothing. I just didn’t want you to be a third wheel,” she said with her hand on the back of her waist.
Li Ran, “....”
“Seriously, he is my best friend so how am I the third wheel?” he asked glancing over at the two who were stretching in preparation for war.
Hela pat Li Ran’s shoulder with a hint of sympathy for the clueless.

Meanwhile, at the academy gate, a pearl white hovercar accompanied by an escort drove into the premises. As soon as the winged door opened a pair of stilettos emerged followed by a pair of milky white slender legs.
A woman dressed in a black suit rushed over and called out, “Miss,” but before she could even convince her that this was a bad idea she was shut down.
Scylla military academy wasn’t a place one could casually stroll into regardless of status but Ikeda Yua just waltzed in the name of her father.
Flicking her hair she said, “I am here to find that bitch and I won’t leave until I talk to her woman to woman.”
By and I quote ‘talk to her woman to woman’ she meant finding out who the fuck she was and then beat the shit out of her.... or ask someone to do it for her.
Ever since she was a little girl she had her eyes sat on Yi Chen and had expressed that several times. Having hit a brick wall with Yi Chen a couple of times she inserted herself in Lin Ruoxi’s circles and at some point, his mother was rooting for her.
But for some reason, everything changed. Her father had emphasized that this relationship was a must ever since she was young and he even reassured her that he would make it happen. Sure, he knew her father’s motive was military power but it was a win-win scenario for her.
In the past, she didn’t push it because there was no one around Yi Chen but ever since that get-together everything began to spiral out of control. But that wasn’t even the worst part.
What was even worse was that she couldn’t even find any trace of this girl. After searching for her for so long and finding absolutely nothing she could only think of Scylla. She had to be in there and Ikeda Yua was going to find her.
Clank, clank, clank...
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThe clanking sound of stilettos echoed in the halls as she walked toward the training room. She had already checked class one’s schedule and found that this is where they were.
As she walked into the training room all eyes were on her. That’s because she was very beautiful and quite eye-catching. Who in this place didn’t know the prime minister of Capital Star’s daughter?
Some of them even had spring dreams about her and would do anything to get her attention. The raucous behind attracted Zi Han’s attention.
When he turned around and saw that bitc-..... nope, nope he was going to be respectful. When he turned around and saw that girl the smile on his face sank.
It seemed she didn’t understand his words the last time they spoke. He couldn’t comprehend what was so difficult to understand. His message was straightforward enough.
He subconsciously took a step forward as his lips quirked up into a sly smile that could send shivers down one’s spine. He looked like a devil whose property had been coveted by others.
Ikeda Yua spotted Zi Han and she immediately noticed the similarities. She assumed he was related to the girl thus she took off her sunglasses and walked over to him.
And where was Yi Chen in all of this? He had his back to Zi Han setting up the mode for the simulator thus he had no idea shit was about to go down.
Zi Han met her halfway and she asked, “Where is she?.... she is your sister, right?”
Zi Han laughed out loud finding this rather amusing. After he blacklisted her he went to find out who she was. He knew her father was the prime minister of Capital Star but so what? His mother was holding the entire planet hostage.
Just like Zi Xingxi he had no problem offending people. The only problem was why did he want to offend her. What was his motive in all of this? It’s not like she was harassing him. Shouldn’t it be Yi Chen dealing with this?
