Everyone gasped loudly and several guards ran towards me and my father who was their Alpha king,

hoping to protect us from the Demon’s sudden attack. However, knowing that there was another figure

standing between us and the Demon made everyone breathe a sigh of relief knowing that we were

immediately looked at me with a deep gaze, as if he knew something before turning back to the

laughing red-eyed Demon.

“Harharhar… Astarootthhh…. There you are!” The Demon named Asmodeus shouted as if he had just

met an old friend.

What’s wrong with him anyway? I was confused and annoyed by the Demon’s strangeness.

was he like that before? I remember him always smiling when talking to me, I thought as I recalled our

heavy voice that again sent chills down my spine. The demon named Asmodeus shook his head while

continuing to smile sarcastically “At first I thought you liked the queen, but….” He paused and gave a

wider evil smile as if he knew something before running at the speed of light towards me “It’s the little

princess you love” He shouted at the same time I felt someone pulling my hand and opened my eyes to

see a long sword extended towards me.

Everything was like slow motion and I could only widen my eyes in shock and fear when I saw a figure

pulling me away from the sword only to see it stab into the body of the man who would always protect

me from everything that happened in this world.

The man who was my first love, the man who always spoiled me even though he knew I was a bad

child.

Yes, my father, the Alpha king risked his life to protect me with his body.

“NOOOO… DADDYY…!!!!” I screamed as the tip of the sword pierced my father’s body and I only got a

small scratch before the red-eyed Demon laughed and disappeared from sight.

“COWARD!!!!!” I heard Astaroth shout before he bent his body to examine me. “Iris… Iris… are you

alright?” He asked me frantically and surprised me with the concern he showed.

Shaking my head, I pointed my index finger towards my father who was currently being hugged by my

crying mother “my father… help my father” I sobbed

frantically and he looked at me as if to confirm my condition before looking at my father.

All the guards who were there snarled at him, but Astaroth ignored them and just bowed his body while

talking to my mother who was currently hugging his injured mate’s body.

“Queen Luna, may I see him? I’m the only one who can heal him right now” I heard the Demon named

Astaroth say softly to my mother who at first just stared

at him, but she finally nodded her head and handed over my father to be examined.

I crawled over to my father, with tears streaming down my face. My mother hugged me and we

encouraged each other by hugging each other.

holding my fall.
