Yianni stopped releasing his Qrohm but froze the moment he looked at James. Though seated, James floated in the air, a radiant sacred lotus beneath him.
A colorful, holy light shone from behind James, giving him an aura of power and sanctity.
"The Waitara Path!" The Celestial Sage gasped reflexively.
The Earthly Sage furrowed her brows, disbelief evident in her eyes.
"Didn't the Waitara Path perish long ago? How could he possibly be here?" Yianni yelled furiously, "How dare you question the authenticity of the SuprPath? "Do you think anyone can fabricate the Daoism Sacred Lotus, the path source's sacred lights, and the Forty-Nine Daoisms' colored lights?" The Celestial Sages fell silent, yet their faces betrayed persistent doubt.
James raised his hand and cast two beams of path source at the Celestial Sages, elevating their cultivation from the Dacra Rank to the Secrolles Rank. The Celestial Sages stared at their palms in bewilderment, sensing the vivid changes in their powers.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtNormally, it would take millions of entrapochs to reach this level of cultivation.
Yet, it had occurred within seconds. Most of all, only the SuprPath could perform such a feat.
The Celestial Sages quickly knelt and bowed deeply, despite their shock and confusion. James' eyes narrowed. "Now that you know who I am, I have something to ask of you." The Celestial Sages lifted their heads and awaited James' questioning. "James Caden was once a close friend of yours, right?" James asked.
The Celestial Sages paused briefly and then nodded almost simultaneously.
James asked again, "Can you tellwhat his weaknesses are?" The pair fell silent again, frowns creasing their foreheads.
"Are you not going to answer the SuprPath's questions?" Yianni's brows arched. "Are you going to defy the teachings and values of the Path?" The Celestial Sages looked extremely torn listening to Yianni's questions.
Yianni's face darkened. "James Caden is doing exactly those things! His second body entering our realm is a betrayal of our Daoisms! He is the root of all evil! "Yet, you still want to follow a man like him?!" The Celestial Sages flinched and exchanged glances.
They did not notice Yaretzi, Youcef, and Thea's surprised stares at James. However, James did not return their gaze.
It seemed James was not only probing the Celestial Sages' true feelings about the imposter James but also testing their reactions to Waitara's reincarnated Soremsia. After a few moments of contemplation, the Celestial Sages stood and looked Yianni in the eye.
"Mr. Yianni, you are the famed creator of the Marciais Combat Form. You also call yourself James' teacher. Yet, how could you demean your disciple with such slander?" The Celestial Sage continued in a steely voice, "Besides, the James I know isn't an evil or cold-hearted person.
"Although he can be a little wild and carefree sometimes, James is nonetheless kind and loyal. He doesn't harbor selfish or impure intentions." The Celestial Sage bowed slightly to James.
"SuprPath, since you've returned to us, you probably know better than anyone that James is the Chosen One you personally handpicked. "He is a promising young talent who brings new hope to our Daoisms. Why would he defy our Daoisms or the teachings of the Path?" "I agree," added the Earthly Sage. "I know James very well. He has offended quite a few divine beings while protecting living beings' rights.
"It's possible that sof those people may try to mislead you with false information or rumors, SuprPath." She shot a glare at Yianni before bowing to James as well.
"We are willing to vouch for James' innocence with our Soremsia. Someone must have deliberately made those wrongful accusations about James, SuprPath." The Celestial Sages' words appeared to rile Yianni. He snapped, "It sounds like both of you and James Caden are accomplices. I suppose we have no choice but to exterminate you as well." "You can exterminate us, of course." I.ne The Celestial Sage pointed at Yianni. "You're a divine being now, and you can kill us anytyou want. However, we won't let you slander James and mislead the SuprPath while we're still here!" "James is the number one hero in our world and the pride of our Daoisms," stated the Earthly Sage unwaveringly. "We'll say the sthing even if you end our lives permanently." Yianni's brows twitched as he balled his fists slowly.

The Celestial Sages were still the same. Even when facing the SuprPath, they did their best to defend James. Their impressive sense of righteousness remained intact.
Yianni was about to attack the Celestial Sages, but James stopped releasing the lights around his body and teleported before Yianni.
"What are you..." Yianni knitted his brows.
James scrutinized his face. "Were you genuinely upset?" Yianni paused awkwardly and shook his head. "I... I wasn't. I was just trying to go along with your..." Jam es stared at him thoughtfully before turning around and bowing to the Celestial Sages.
"Greetings to the Celestial Sages. It's me, James Caden."
Bathed in the path source's light, the Celestial Sages seemed shocked to hear that name. They appeared even e more surprised than when they saw the SuprPath impersonated by James. Yaretzi beamed broadly and walked up to the pair. "I've heard that the Celestial Sages manifest the righteous aura and are greatly admired by all living beings.
"In the past, you two could have received the Ousia title. Yet, you chose to stay and watch over the living beings. After seeing you today, I am reminded of how sacred and important the righteous aura is to our Daoisms." "You're right," Youcef nodded. "Also, .neg the two of them are extremely powerful. If the SuprPath hadn't lentthe path source's powers, I would have lost to them earlier." en.swhovels"The righteous aura existing in nature helps all beings grow and thrive," Thea added as she approached. "They must be granted the Qusia titles this time, especially a high-rank title."
The Celestial Sages processed the conversation they had just heard the pointing at those around them. Realization dawned, and they widened their eyes in shock. X
