Chapter 2906
Since James was an alchemist who could concoct a Divine Rank elixir by using a Sage Rank’s Fifteenth Grade herb,
he was certainly not someone to be trifled with. So, he was extremely polite toward James.
"James, since you've only just finished concocting an elixir, you must be fatigued. Let me escort you to a rest area."
After James demonstrated his Emperor Rank alchemy furnace and concocted a Divine Rank elixir, Daley was very
respectful toward him. Not just Daley, but even Myrddin wanted to curry favor with James. That was because James
not only had an Emperor Rank alchemy furnace, but he even possessed terrifying alchemy skills. Some of the
techniques he used had already been long lost. If James could offer him guidance, his alchemy skills could increase
by leaps and bounds.
James did not feel tired. However, since he had already won, there was no point in staying here. With Daley's
guidance, he was brought to a magnificent courtyard in the city.
In the courtyard, James asked, "By the way, when's the examination of the Medicine Pavilion?”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtDaley said with a bright smile, "James, with your alchemy skills and background, there’s no need to join the Elixir
Pavilion."
The Elixir Pavilion was also called the Medicine Pavilion and was one of the most powerful forces in the Boundless
Realm.
To Daley, the Lord of the Stardust Realm, there was no need for James to join the Elixir Pavilion. He knew that James
must have had a powerful figure backing him. Though he did not know who the person was, the Boundless Realm
was huge, and as such, it was not entirely impossible that there were some mysterious powerful figures living in
seclusion.
James furrowed his eyebrows. He could not tell Daley about his true objective of joining the Medicine Pavilion, so
after thinking briefly, he said, "My master told me that the Medicine Pavilion is one of the most powerful forces in
this world and the alchemists there are all terrifying. I wish to head over there and have a look."
Daley smiled and said, "Though the Elixir Pavilion is powerful, they do not have an Emperor Rank alchemy furnace.
Moreover, their alchemy skills may not necessarily be better than yours. With your current mastery over alchemy,
once you become an Emperor, you'll be the most powerful individual in the Boundless Realm."
James waved his hand slightly and interrupted Daley, asking, "When is the Medicine Pavilion's examination?"
Daley answered, "Three thousand years later."
"What?" Hearing this, James stood up immediately. 'Three thousand years?"
"Yes." Puzzled, Daley asked, "Is something the matter?"
James took a deep breath and shook his head slightly, saying, "l-lt’s nothing."
He sat down.
Three thousand years was simply too long a time for him. He and the humans on Earth did not have that much time
to spare. James had to find a way to sneak into the Elixir Pavilion and see if there was anything he was looking for
as soon as possible.
He glanced at Daley.
Though Daley was a human, James could not sense the curse's power on him. Puzzled, he asked, "Lord Daley, do
you not have the power of the curse inside your body?"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmTo James' understanding, there was a curse inside the body of every human in the universe. Since the Heavenly
Path wished to annihilate all of humanity, there was no way the Boundless Realm would be spared just because the
realm was secluded.
"A curse?" Daley froze and asked, "What's that?"
Hearing this, James fell silent. Judging by Daley's expression, he seemed to be ignorant of the curse, and he did not
have any curse inside his body.
"What’s going on?"
James was confused.
At that moment, the Spirit Tool's voice came from inside the Celestial Abode and reverberated throughout his mind.
"The humans in the Boundless Realm do not have a curse inside their bodies. When you entered the Boundless
Realm, someone borrowed the power of the Time Capsule and forcibly opened the River of Time, transporting you
to the past."
Hearing this, James froze.
He asked silently in his heart, 'Spirit Tool, are you saying that Xandros sent me back to the past?’
