After all, The way Alex reacting with her all this twas not something a mentally sane person can do.

Though she calling someone mentally handicapped like a kettle calling pot black.

Still Liora hearing the answers of Alex was willing to believe he was just anxious and not dumb but she dropped that thought when he said he forced that Jake to use an ancient artifact to protect him and yet these guys cout without a scratch.

That is an ancient artifact, Which in itself is a rare thing to have in the ages after the fall but on top that it was an attack oriented one, Which was even rare then normal as having power to release an full blown S-Rank attack was an not something to take it lightly.

So of course Liroa did not believe Alex was able to force someone to use that and yet cout unscathed.

That says, Either he is lying, which seems not the case or he was so gullible that he believe whatever other party told him to, Which make him not good in head department.

"Hey, Why are you looking atlike that? Believe it or not I really did it, But ignore that, Even if Jake did not have a full power artifact he would try to trick with half used one or Maybe use other things, Like I said his master did not spare on giving him things."

Alex already knows what this Liroa is thinking, It's not that hard to tell when she did not even bother to hide her emotions on her face.

Which to be honest Alex like about her, He didn't have to spend extra tin mental gymnastics to figure out what is cooking in her mind like Alia and Belladonna. She is like an open book written in the forgotten language.

Anyway, He just wanted her to be aware of Jake and find a way to discard all his protective things from him.

It did not matter if in the process of acquiring those things, Jake ends up destroying or using it as he can still get them because of the system just like how he has half part "Wrath Of Lord" in his possession.

So he was looking forward to see Liora go after Jake but he also did not want Liora to go unprepared or all out.

That is because if she goes unprepared then she might chance stupid luck of his kick in saving his ass and in the process getting something even more powerful. That's how the villain sends EXP to the protagonist.

But he also didn't want her to go all out because of fear that she would beat Jake too much that he would go in the hiding and he would lose track of him.

This is one of the worst things that can happen, A unmonitored protagonist in the world of a ? Who knows what would happen if he let that happen.

But there is an even more scary outcome, Liora actually killing Jake. That is his nightmare.

Yes normally the protagonist is unkillable and that is also true in the world. Unless they have the effect or halo like him, There is no way to actually kill a protagonist.

But Jake is not a proper protagonist, He is just a bit put out there to pull him out.

So even if his luck is way higher than a proper protagonist like Nathan, Quality of his luck is way weaker than Nathan as it's been proven before.

Jake lost 10,000 Luck in just one encounter with him and was not able to gain it back, While Nathan just lost 1000 Luck to him and just gained back more half of the lost luck in the next moment.

That shows how tenacious Nathan's luck is as compared to Jake, So there is a huge possibility that if Liora actually fought with Jake, She would be more likely to succeed in killing him.

Which is his nightmare, Because if Jake died then there is no saying he can get that legendary cultivation technique off his back or any other opportunities the world has saved for Jake.

But there is also more of a possibility that a new protagonist pops up, Which he is concerned about as there is no saying what caliber the new protagonist would be.

So he needs to keep Jake alive as long as he drains him of his every worth then he can give a peaceful sleep to his good brother-in-law.

"...Can you tellthe approximate direction of the Miller family manner?"

Liora just looked at Alex as if she was looking at a crazy person.

How could she not? She is already having a hard tbelieving him that Jake has an ancient artifact, That too of the offensive category.

That in itself was a rare occurrence but now this extraordinarily handsman is saying that Jake has more than one such thing? She could not believe that at all.

So she just asked about the Miller family manners location, Before she had hesitation hearing Jake having an artifact but now she thinks Alex was just tricked by that Jake.

Now that there is no artifact then there is also no need to be wary of him and so she can destroy her contender to prove her might to Alex to win him over as that's the only way she knows how to woo a man.

"Oh Miller they ar-"

"May I ask why?"

White who was not understanding what was happening, jumped to help Liora when she asked the question as her sister taught her to always help someone in need.

"Oh simple, You said that Jake might be going to the Miller family? Meaning he may be on his way over there.

And if that is the case then wouldn't it would be easy to just destroy that whole direction of Miller manor altogether? It would save a lot of time."

Liora just looked innocently at Alex and just uttered her answer.
