Bailey sighed softly. Just as she was about to speak, the butler's voice traveled from the outside. “Ms.
Veronique, Mr. Xuereb is waiting outside, saying he wants to see you. However, Mr. Luther has warned
us to not let Mr. Xuereb in. What should we do?”
Veronique cast Bailey a panicked glance, saying, “Bay, do you think Justin knows something?”
Bailey pondered for a while before saying, “You drugged him and insisted on getting pregnant. He
must've gotten suspicious and thought about how Zephyr needs a newborn's stem cells to treat
leukemia. Maybe...”
“What should I do?”
Bailey got to her feet and patted Veronique's shoulder. “I'll talk to him. Since you're determined to keep
Zephyr's identity a secret from Justin, then we should dispel his suspicions.”
“Do you have an idea?”
“Yeah. I do. Stay here and get some rest. Don't bother getting up.”
After leaving the infirmary, Bailey went to the mansion's entrance, invited Justin into her car, and talked

When Bailey was about to get off the car, the door to the passenger seat was opened again, and a tall
figure slipped in.
She stared at the man beside her in shock, raising her brow. “What are you doing here instead of being
at the office?”
“I missed you, so I came over.”
Bailey was speechless. This dude is acting up again.
Right then, she recalled her conversation with Veronique in the ward about the past. Unable to hold in
her curiosity, Bailey asked, “Seven years ago, you went to Pontotium to negotiate a deal but got tricked
by someone. Did you manage to escape safely when Dwayne covered for you?”
Artemis was taken aback by the question.
That was one of the past events he hated to bring up. It was also the biggest blow he had endured in
his life. I've already gotten people to destroy all traces of the incident. How did this woman find out
about it?
As he thought about it, a sudden realization came to him, and he asked, “Justin was rescued during
that time too. Was Veronique the one who saved him? Was that when she got pregnant?”
Bailey narrowed her eyes.
This dude is too smart. How is he able to relate the pieces to what I said?
“Answer my questions. I was the one who asked first.”
“Dwayne and I got separated. The person he rushed over to rescue was successfully rescued. As for
me, I nearly died in the opponents' hands. Thankfully, I was rescued at a critical moment.”
Bailey side-eyed him and flashed a half smile. “I'm guessing the person who rescued you is a beauty,
am I right? What's wrong? Why didn't you develop a relationship with her or something? You know, like
those kinds of interesting experiences between a man and a woman.”
Ignoring her words, Artemis grabbed her arm and pulled her into his embrace, leaning over to kiss her.
Bailey was stunned.
“I only have wicked thoughts for you. Yes, just like what you said earlier. The interesting experiences
between a man and a woman. Why don't we go back to my private mansion and experience it
ourselves?”
Bailey said nothing in reply.
Artemis bit her lips gently and said hoarsely, “You're such a seductress. I can't wait to take control of
you. I bet a wild woman like you can only be controlled by me.”
Hearing that, Bailey rolled her eyes and glared at him, squirming to escape from his arms.
This scoundrel... Is he addicted to kissing me or something?
Artemis grabbed her waist with one arm and her chin with the other, warning, “The more you squirm,
the more you're igniting my desires. When that happens, I'm going to make you satisfy my desires in
the Revelle residence's guest room.”
Bailey stopped moving instantly, allowing the man on top of her to press down hard on her.
“I say, Mr. Luther. You're the one who came here flirting with me for no reason. What on earth do you
want?”
Artemis eyed her. “Shouldn't you know already? Do I have to bed you to teach you a lesson?”
Meanwhile, Felicity, Gerald, Caridee, Rhonda, and Maxton were having lunch in the dining room at the
Luther residence.
Felicity kept piling food on Maxton's plate. “Eat more, my darling. You haven't been eating well recently.
You've lost so much weight. Here. Have more to replenish your system.”
Maxton felt disgusted at the sight of the greasy roast pork on his plate.
Without even hesitating, he picked up his fork and push them all onto Rhonda's plate.
Rhonda's face twisted in disgust.
She had been consuming pills and avoiding greasy food to suppress her morning sickness. As soon as
Maxton transferred all the roast pork onto her plate, a sudden wave of nausea washed over her.

Maxton rolled his eyes and pouted. “How is she my biological mommy when she's disgusted at her

Suddenly, a thought came to Felicity's mind, and her eyes lit up with excitement.
She shot to her feet and hurried over.
Meanwhile, Rhonda did not even bother closing the restroom door as she leaned over the sink and
vomited her guts out.
After all, it had already been a month. Showing signs of morning sickness at that point would not raise
any suspicions.
Felicity patted Rhonda's back while saying happily, “Ronni, didn't you say Artemis had sex with you a
month ago without using any protections? And now, you're vomiting so terribly. Could you be
pregnant?”
The vomiting sounds stopped, and Rhonda stared at Felicity in disbelief. With a trembling voice, the
former said, “N-No way. There can't be such a coincidence. I mean, it was only once. Can I really get
pregnant just like that?”
“It's possible. Didn't the same thing happen when you got pregnant with Max? I got pregnant with
Artemis after just one night too. I'm pretty sure you're pregnant. Come on. Let's get you checked at the
infirmary,” Felicity said as if she was an experienced person.
Rhonda was indeed pregnant.
The person in charge of the infirmary performed an ultrasound on Rhonda and confirmed that she was
one month into her pregnancy.
The period matched her story perfectly.
Felicity was elated while Maxton was stumped. He could not understand how Rhonda got pregnant.
