Chapter 952 A Conversation
The group checked into the hotel after they arrived at Ries City, Carolyn and Valery then left the hotel excitedly. They wanted to visit the clothing stores to order their wedding dresses and suits.
Likewise, Gerald and his men also came to Ries City to shop. They also had to buy many things.
The aircraft that they came in was huge. Hector said that there was a storage room inside the aircraft. It Could house seven or eight cars.
Gerald and the group planned to bring the hover car back.
They were keen to study both its driverless and flight technology.
Of course, the most important thing to them was the energy stone.
As far as Earth was concerned, the energy stone was a new source of energy. If they could not find an alternative source of energy, it would be difficult to advocate the use of hover cars on Earth.
However, if Watchmen could use hover cars, their efficiency would be improved tremendously.
They could only bring one batch of energy stones back with them. They could not exchange for more energy stones with the amount of money they had.
Whenever he had to make some purchases, Gerald always had a feeling that he never had enough money.
Since they were at Ries City, they had to bring some gifts back to the people on Earth. The weapons that Theo, Belinda, Blaine, and Milo used were considered Divine Weapons on Earth. However, they were considered ordinary tools in Ries City.
Although they had obtained some weapons and materials from the Burial Ground, the technology for making weapons on Earth was not as advanced as here.
The weapons were of little use after they reached the level of Half-Step Flame Decay.
Gerald had received a lot of money from the assassination missions, including the mission to escort Benson. However, Jacob had also used up a lot of the money earlier.
Everything required money, including the publicity in the Abandoned Land and the setting up of the labor union in the games.
When Gerald left, he gave about one billion golorbs to those people to continue the publicity work in

He planned to buy some weapons for his men, but the better weapons would cost hundreds of millions of
golorbs. The red lightswords used by Gold Elite Ghosts cost several million golorbs.
Gerald knew he had to buy more advanced weapons. He spent more than one billion golorbs buying about a
dozen weapons.
After buying miscellaneous stuff, Gerald realized that his card was about to run out of money again.
Of course, Claude was happy that he got a new sniper rifle.
”
They were full of admiration for the technology of this city.
The sniper rifle that Claude already had was the pinnacle of Earth’s technology. However, it was nothing compared to what Ries City had.
His newly acquired sniper rifle was ten times more powerful.
The distance and all other features of the new sniper rifle were greatly enhanced.
When they got back, they would try to figure out its caliber. Once they developed the new bullets, Claude’s marksmanship would improve by leaps and bounds.
Of course, the money was well-spent as long as it could increase the team members’ combat power.
Regardless, Gerald thought of bringing some business tycoons over to Havotune. They had to make plans for the property development of Havotune.
Meanwhile, in Nether Domain which was located in Havotune, peace was finally restored after the trial. The sounds of the beats roaring could be heard again. They had returned to their respective dwelling places.
A calm and peaceful Nether Domain was a rare sight.
At this moment, two figures were shuttling back and forth in the forest. Very soon, they came to the center of
the altar.
The two figures were Aarav and the young man.
“Woof!”
Just then, a dog started barking.
Both men looked at the center of the altar with their dilated pupils.
A shabby-looking figure was standing in front of the altar.
The young man’s expression changed slightly. “Joy! What are you doing here?”
“Huh!”
Alcoholic slowly turned around and saw the two men standing behind him. A sinister smile appeared on his
face. “Hey, both of you are still alive?”
The young man and Aarav stared at Alcoholic as if they were facing a formidable enemy. The young man let
out a laugh. “How can we die if you’re still alive? What are you doing here?”
“I want to see when this rogue will appear. I’ll chop him into pieces with my sword.” Alcoholic was smiling
when he said that.
“Just you?” The young man eyed Joy disdainfully.
Alcoholic snorted. “Why not? Let’s have a competition. Both of you can join forces to beat me.”
Aarav’s expression darkened suddenly. He sneered coldly. “Joy, you know you won’t be able to kill us by
yourself. There’s no stopping the return of King Lamont. We all know this is a fact for sure. Why don’t you join us? Do you think this is the state you want to see the world in?”

The young man scoffed. “Now the so-called Eight Forces are behaving like clowns. When King Lamont returns, they will be crushed easily.”
Swoosh!
Just then, Alcoholic suddenly whipped out his sword. It was lodged firmly in the ground in front of the two
men.
“I will hack the Nether King with my sword on the day of his return.” Alcoholic’s tone was calm.
The young man scoffed at his words. “You’re not fit to do so.”
“What if I have the help of Dragon Bone?” Once again, Alcoholic snorted coldly.
“What? Dragon Bone?” Aarav’s expression changed as though he suddenly thought of something
“Joy!” The young man wanted to say something else, but Alcoholic said dismissively, “Get lost!”
Alcoholic sat on the ground, picked up his wine bottle, and drank from it. “I’ll be guarding this place from now on. Don’t try to do anything funny.”
Aarav and the young man’s expressions changed. They exchanged glances before retreating.
After they left, Alcoholic sat in front of the altar and started muttering, “Lamont, you’re very lucky.”
He then thought of something else and said with a smirk. “I know you’ve found that guy and left a mark on his body. During ancient times, you were beaten up by people who possessed Dragon Bone. You are scared now. Well, how could I let you get what you want? I’ve already wiped off the mark from his body. You will never succeed!” Alcoholic laughed heartily.
He then seemed to have thought of something again and looked at the alter in a strange manner. “Aren’t you angry? Aren’t you Lamont Valdez? Or are you just some weakling?”
“Woof!”
The dog’s barking was heard at a distance.
No one at the altar responded to what Alcoholic said.
The black mist surrounding the entrance of the altar seemed to have thickened. It seemed as though the person inside the altar was angered.
