Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

The first thing that told Rau that this would not be a simple mission was the amount of power he could sense from the Alcatraz guild members! Rau is a spearman but he could still sense how strong people were just like every other black star! There were about a hundred people from the Alcatraz guild on this floor and that wasn’t a problem! But the power of more than half of them was on par with black stars! This was a big red flag for Rau! The information that Rau gathered from his spies told him that the Alcatraz guild was mainly made up of gold stars and white stars. So why the hell are there black stars there!? Did my spy lie to me? No, he wouldn’t do that. He doesn’t have any reason to do that. But the adventurers that came with me are mainly white stars and they won’t be able to handle black stars!

Rau immediately planned to take the portal back and regroup! He didn’t want to lead the adventurers into a situation that would lead all of them to die! But before he could send them back, they were ambushed!

The new Alcatraz guild was already prepared for them and they realized too late that they walked right into a trap! The fight went on for a long time and a lot of adventurers were cut down by the new Alcatraz guild. This only made them stronger and it became harder for the remaining adventurers to fight them! Since killing other chosen is one of the fastest ways to become stronger, the Alcatraz guild was getting stronger and stronger!

But the one thing that shocked Rau more than anything else was the strength of those Alcatraz members! There shouldn’t be this many strong members in the Alcatraz guild. Rau knew that none of the kings would allow their subjects to join the Alcatraz guild, so that means that the string members aren’t from the upper floors! They were from the lower floors and they managed to get this strong! Was there something happening on the lower floors that allowed them to grow like this? It shouldn’t be possible!

Rau realized that this would not be a battle for them to win easily! Once they lost a third of their men, Rau ordered the retreat immediately! He and the rest of his men made a break for the far end of the floor and they tried to find a good spot to hide in. Rau would have gone to another floor entirely, but he knew that the Alcatraz guild will be at the portal and they will be ready to ambush his adventurers if they go near the portal. The best thing that Rau could do was send out an SOS to the one family that he knows will be able to help him. The Luo’s.

Rau used a shadow hunter to send a message to Rin. Rau asked for aid and he told Rin their location and how many enemies they were facing against. Rin promised to send Gregory to them and Rau thanked her! If it is Gregory then things will be okay! Rau has heard about how much Gregory has been growing and Gregory should be enough to handle this.

Rau had another problem that he had to deal with in the meantime. Risque was injured badly. During their escape, Risque was hit by a supernova and it destroyed her right arm. Luckily, there was a healer in their group that was able to attach the arm back but it would be difficult for her to use the arm recklessly. the healer couldn’t heal all the injuries since they were too severe and so Risque wasn’t able to move around at all. They need to get back to the adventurers guild to find a stronger healer that can help her fix the arm.

Rau planned to just wait in the cave they were hiding in and hold on till Gregory comes to help them but unfortunately, things weren’t that easy.

One of the members of Alcatraz found where they were hiding and attacked them and Rau had to send Risque away while he and the other adventurers fought against Alcatraz. Things were not looking good for them because most of the adventurers were already injured from the last time that they fought Alcatraz!

So Rau and the other uninjured members of the adventurers guild were the only ones that could fight. They all hid behind different shields or rocks as they heard the great explosions echoing around them! The Alcatraz guild was not playing around at all and they were really trying their best to kill all of them before any reinforcement comes around! Rau grit his teeth and he looked to the men at his side! There were only ten of them here and the rest of them were scattered around the floor as they were fighting for their lives. Rau thought about making another call to Rin but he knew that it would be a waste of time! The only thing that Rau could do was hope that Gregory comes in time!

“Grim Reaper! Sever their souls!”

Then, all of a sudden, there was a loud shout from behind them and Rau turned back in shock as he saw a large grim Reaper standing there! He laughed in joy and the adventurers beside him also started to cheer as they saw the Grim Reaper tear some Alcatraz guild members to shreds! Gregory was finally here!

Gregory stood on a high hill looking down at all the people fighting on that floor. He could tell which ones were the adventurers since they were wearing the adventurers guild badges on their arms. That made it easier for him to only attack the Alcatraz guild. Gregory put his hand out and activated a skill.

[Shadow Bomb] has been activated!

The Shadow Bomb grew till it was bigger than Gregory and then Gregory shot it towards the direction where the largest congregation of Alcatraz guild members were standing! Gregory noticed how they all started to run once they saw the bomb but Gregory knew that there was no way for them to escape! His shadow Bomb has already evolved past the regular explosion!

[Black Hole] has been activated!

Once the Shadow Bomb landed on the ground, it transformed into its second stage, Black Hole. Everything in the vicinity of the explosion was immediately pulled toward the darkness! The amount of suction from the bomb was so intense that it made trees bend in its directions and some of the trees closest to the black hole were even uprooted and sucked in! The adventurers were far away from the bomb so they were able to hold onto the trees and rocks around them to prevent themselves from going in, but the Alcatraz guild members couldn’t do that and they were pulled into the darkness whole screaming! Even those that were trying to fly away were also pulled in! More than half of the Alcatraz members were taken by the black hole!

Gregory was a black star level that was as strong as a king and none of the white or black stars there had any chance against any of his skills. Gregory jumped from the high elevation and pulled his scythe back as he called up another skill.

[Grim Reaper] has been activated!

A giant grim Reaper appeared above him and finally killed the rest of the Alcatraz members that were around him! The adventurers there were all stunned by the display, but they didn’t stay in shock for long as they quickly started to run out from their hiding places! The Alcatraz guild members that were still alive were all trying to run and the adventurers wouldn’t let a single one of them live!

Gregory finally landed on the ground and the first person that ran up to him was Rau! Rau had a wide smile on his face as he hugged Gregory in thanks! Rau didn’t know what they would have done if Gregory didn’t come to help them! Gregory was a bit uncomfortable with the hug and he shifted Rau back a little. Get away from me, you leech.

Gregory still remembers how he and Han met Rau all those months ago and Gregory could tell that Rau was someone who expressed his emotions too much. Gregory still wasn’t comfortable with physical contact with people that weren’t in his family.

“Thanks for coming, Gregory. I didn’t think you would make it in time,”

Rau said this gratefully and Gregory just nodded to tell him that it was okay. Gregory then looked around curiously.

“Where are the rest of you? Is this everyone that survived?”

There weren’t even twenty people in the field and Gregory knew that Rau came here with up to a hundred people. Don’t tell me that they were all killed. Han won’t like that his army was reduced like this. Rau shook his head. Only about half of them were killed. Most of them were only injured so they had to go into hiding.

“Risque and some other survivors are hiding on the other side of the floor. We drew the Alcatraz guild out here to prevent them from attacking the injured soldiers anymore. We should be able to meet them soon,”

Gregory nodded and looked around at the Alcatraz guild members that were killed. The adventurers that were with Rau were coming back and a lot of them brought Alcatraz members with them as prisoners. All the adventurers were looking at Gregory with awe. They knew who Gregory was and they knew that he was the only right hand of King Han! Gregory was a legend among the adventurers because he was responsible for killing that Kraken all those months ago. They all knew that they couldn’t handle that Kraken themselves but Gregory was able to do it when he was far weaker than he is now.

Gregory pointed to one of the adventurers and told her to bring the Alcatraz guild member that she was carrying to him. The woman quickly dragged the man over by his hair and dumped him at Gregory’s feet. Gregory knelt down and looked at the scared man. The Alcatraz members tried to scoot back in fright! He didn’t want to be anywhere near Gregory at all! Gregory was able to kill all the Alcatraz guild members singlehandedly so the Alcatraz members knew he didn’t stand a chance even if he tried to fight!

If only they knew that someone like Gregory would be here then they wouldn’t have even tried to fight at all! Gregory wasn’t someone that they could beat on their own! They thought that it would only be some damn adventurers that would show up, but why is the right hand of the first king here!?

Gregory grabbed the man by the shirt and the man flinched as Gregory’s eyes turned blood red.

[Eyes of Horos] has been activated.

Gregory’s vision cleared into an otherworldly clarity and he could see everything around him in slow motion! He noticed every twitch and every shift in the man’s body. Gregory looked at the man from head to toe to see if there was any difference in him. Gregory was curious about why the adventurers would even need his help at all. Gregory was able to gauge the power that these Alcatraz members had and they shouldn’t be this strong. Their levels were only high enough to make them high-class white stars so they shouldn’t have been a difficult fight. But when Gregory fought then just now, he felt like he was killing black stars.

Rau was curious about what Gregory was doing. He looked towards the adventurers that were gathering around them and he told them to back up a little and give Gregory some room. Everyone was trying to get too close and it was becoming annoying. He asked Gregory what he was looking for and Gregory told him that he would know once he sees it.

“There is something strange about them. They don’t feel… Normal. You felt it too, didn’t you?’

Rau couldn’t even deny it if he tried and he was shocked that Gregory noticed it so soon! All the Alcatraz members were too strong to be mere white stars!
