Chapter 995
Edwin glared at him coldly in response.
He stood in the rainstorm. His coat was all wet, sticking to his skin.
Despite the chilly surrounding temperature, his eyes were colder than the winter wind.
Now that the car window was lowered, Edwin quickly glanced at the rear seat.
It was empty.
"Where's the girl in your car?" Edwin asked in a frightening manner.
The driver was taken aback by his intimidating aura. "Who? There's no one in my car," he stammered.
"I watched her get into your car with my own eyes. Shall I bring you to the police station with me?" replied Edwin as he
raised his voice, his eyebrows rising slightly.

driver as he suddenly realized and hurriedly pointed to the direction behind him.
Edwin did not speak, and just stared at the driver.
"What I said is true. She suddenly rushed out of the road to stop the car, saying that she couldn't walk back, so I
kindly gave her a ride. I asked her for her address, and she said that I could just drop her off after we got off the
elevated road. I don't know where she is now." and I don't know where she is now," explained the driver.
Edwin asked, "Did she tell you where she was going?"
"No."
Edwin was all soaking wet. However, he was not bothered by the rain at all. Joanne was still wandering somewhere
alone out there, and he was too worried.
He drove to the location where the driver had dropped off Joanne, which was not very far away.
The storm was so heavy she should not have gone far. Perhaps she took shelter in a bus stop or a shopping mall
nearby.
Edwin started searching for nearby gas stations or large shopping malls within three kilometers.
In the end, he found nothing. Edwin could not help but to feel a little panic.
Where was this stupid woman? Let US hope she did not run into any trouble.
He tried calling her, but her phone was off, apparently.
At this moment, Edwin happened to pass by a bus stop. He habitually lowered the window and looked around for
her.
Raindrops drifted into the car window, damping his already wet clothes even more.
He heard two girls gossiping on the platform.
"Hey, that girl over there was crying so pitifully, and her clothes were still soaking wet. She must have quarreled

"Really, if my boyfriend dares to quarrel with me on a rainy day and leaves me alone, I will break up with him
immediately! What a heartless man..."
Edwin looked at the two girls.
Crying pitifully? Quarreled with her boyfriend?
Could that be Joanne?
The two girls noticed a handsome man in the Ferrare staring at them, and their eyelids flashed wildly.
Edwin calmed down and got out of the car. He smiled evilly at the two girls and asked them about the place where the
girl was crying.
He saw a girl all curled up under the overpass, sitting on the stone steps. She wore the same light pink jacket as Joanne,
with her head buried in her knees.
Looking very lonely, as if abandoned by society.
Edwin's eyes brightened as he saw her and quickly rushed over.
"Joanne, why are you running around like this?!" Edwin scolded harshly as he grabbed the girl's hand and pulled her into
his arms.
