Chapter 890 The Only Person Who Knows The Truth
Looking at their intimate postures in the old photographs, Elisa was suddenly at a loss for words, with conflicted
feelings brewing within her.
Charli sighed. "I was also shocked when I saw these. You never knew your mother. I thought this might be helpful to
you."
She had never seen her parents' marriage and divorce papers. She had been looking into it but to no avail, as
though someone had hidden them intentionally.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtTo her surprise, Charli managed to find them.
Looking at her intently, she sighed, "This is all I can do. Your father… is still a mystery."
Elisa's gaze flickered. "Not entirely. Will gave me some leads."
"What kind of leads?"
Elisa's eyelashes flickered. "He gave me my father's whereabouts for the past two years and my uncle's
interactions with various doctors."
Charli's expression immediately changed. "I bet they consulted many doctors! Perhaps we can discover something
there!"
Elisa nodded. "I need your help with that."
"Don't worry about it! You've got the names. It shouldn't be too hard!"
Elisa laughed. "Don't count your chickens before they're hatched. Norman is a sly old fox. He probably didn't ask
them about any details. He could piece the information together from each doctor. Since it was just a general
consultation, I doubt they could remember his questions."
Charli's brows were locked together, but she shook her head. "It's likely, but I'm sure one of them would know the
entire story. Give me the names; I'll look into it."
Elisa nodded and sent the name list to her.
After reading it, Charli was surprised she couldn't recognize any of the names.
"None of these doctors are well-known. He trusted them, huh?" she snorted.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmElisa smiled. "Though they are fairly obscure, I know some are capable. He didn't just find anyone."
"Is that so?" Charli's voice was thick with sarcasm. "Don't worry, I'll check and make sure I get to every single one."
Elisa smiled back at her. Though she wanted to thank Charli again, it was likely that Charli no longer wanted to hear
her out since they were close. However, Elisa felt guilty if she just took her help for granted.
Hence, she remembered all the help and assistance she had received and vowed never to forget them.
Charli took a sip of water before focusing on Elisa. "By the way, your uncle is the only person who knew what
happened with your parents," she commented coolly.
Elisa's gaze flickered. Conflicts were raging within her as she replied, "I know, but he might not tell me the truth."
