Brian had nothing more to say to her. He picked up the documents he had been perusing earlier and
got back to work.

Meanwhile, Rosalynn headed straight to the bathroom after leaving Brian’s office.
She stared at her blushing face in the mirror and splashed some cold water against her cheeks.

She was on her way to her desk when she bumped into Eleanor in the hallway.
Eleanor fell back half a step from the impact and dropped her purse.
