afternoon.”

just a low-class servant. And now, not only did the latter have the nerve to blackmail her for money, but she even

Mrs. Garner. Then she took off her apron and threw it onto the floor, saying cockily, “I’ve had enough of working for
your family. Mr. Tillman was relatively nice to me, but you and your mother never treated me as a human.”
