Jared nodded before embracing Ellen subtly, whispering gently in her ear, “You can go take a seat there and wait
for me. I’ll come back for you soon.”
Then, Jared called out to a waiter and took a glass of juice, handing it to her. Taking it, Ellen smiled. “Alright. You
guys go ahead.”

and overheard one of them talking smugly. “He’s Jared Presgrave, a classmate of mine during elementary school. I
