Chapter 3269 Last Grimm
"One more," I said as the last drop of strengthening energy absorbed into my body. If the strengthening energy had been 10% more. I would have reached the limit.
I have been to this place for one and a half days and I have reached close to the limit.
I only need to kill one Grimm and I would be at the limit. Ready to make a breakthrough.
It couldn't help but excite me.
I am so close to my destination that I could touch it. If I want to, I could make a breakthrough, but I will not. Reaching the limit is important, as its benefit is multiplied by several times.
I calmed my nerves and think about it cautiously. It is the time; people make most mistakes and I don't want to be one of them.
'Nero, find me a Grimm and I want it closer to the spots where I could make a breakthrough,' I said to him. 'Sure, father,' replied Nero and moved away, while I picked up the hidden spots and sat down.
I sealed my aura and controlled bodily function to lessen the chance of detection.
Till now I have come across four sovereigns and I don't want to be caught by them. Especially now.
As I finished, I closed my eyes and entered my core. There I begin to look at preparation for my breakthrough; I want to make it, as soon as I filled the limit.
All my preparations have been finished. From inheritance to resources, I have created a lot of resources. No matter how much I need for my breakthrough, I have them.
Still, despite all the preparations. I am not completely confident about a breakthrough.
If it had been before I had started the treatments, I would have complete confidence in my breakthrough, but now I do not. There is a good chance I could fail, and I could do nothing about it.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtI have made all the preparations I could, except for one.
My breakthrough formation. I wanted to improve it with my new artificing knowledge, but my skills hadn't reached that level yet.
My clone's skill had reached Grade 3, and it is still not sufficient to work on breakthrough formation to make it more efficient. It will have to reach the peak of grade 3 to do that.
It will take time, a few weeks at least, but I could not wait that long.
Here every day is a struggle; reaching Primary III will increase my chance of survival here. For it, I am willing to take the risk.
'I have found a place, Father,' said Nero nearly an hour later. Hearing that, a smile couldn't help but appear on my face.
Though I did not move away from my spot.
Nero is still there, and I am waiting for him to come back and guide me there.
This place is extremely dangerous, and I don't want to take the risk of being discovered.
Especially now, when I am so close to my destination.
A few minutes later, Nero arrived, and I begin to follow him toward our destination.
In this one and half day here. I have killed over twenty Grimms. Some were powerful and through their bloodline, I have grown quite powerful and also few good things.
The storages of some Grimms had a lot of things and including some good things.
The resources in the repository had increased tremendously. Forget Primary III, even Sovereign would kill me for that; unfortunately. Even if they do, they will not get any resources from my core.
All they would get tokens, which I have kept in my storage.
Soon, we reached the entrance of the garden. This one differs from the small garden; it is big and with tall trees. Here, even if I fight, nobody could sense it.
Though it had one problem. Unlike small gardens which only have one treatment, these have several.
Thankfully, they are further apart, and as long as I am careful. I will be fine.
I entered the garden and walk through the tall trees, which nearly covered the sky. The light comes here from between the leaves of these trees.
A few minutes passed, and I entered the clearing. Where there is a large yellow stone disk. It is a meditation disc, but could also be used to make a breakthrough, and I am going to do just that after I killed the Grimm sitting on it.
I walked toward the disc and was about to call the Crockman sitting on it when it opened its eyes.
Immediately it got up, with hunger in its eyes.
It looked at it for a moment before stepping out of the disc. It could afford to do that, as unlike the other treatments and places, the meditation disc had no restriction on the entries.
One could enter as many times as they want.
"I was feeling quite bored here; it is good, you have delivered yourself," it said to me. I smiled upon hearing that.
"It is you who have delivered yourself to me, Grimm, and I didn't even have to work for it," I replied.
A frown appeared on its face but quickly smoothened up. "I have to say, you are quite a confident human. Not many would dare to be in a place like this." It spoke.
"I am confident because you are weak. I hope you will use your full power, fighting against me," I said.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmIt grinned, but there was clear anger in its eyes.
"Since you wish to experience my full power. I will show it to you," it said and a powerful aura exploded out of its body and formed a huge bloodline phantom behind it.
The phantom returned to its body, and it moved toward me.
In a moment, it was in front of me, with a giant blade in its hand. "It is time for you to die, human," it roared and attacked.
I did not move and just watched the attack.
When the attack reached halfway, I had finally moved, and it alarmed the Grimm. As I am not running toward it, but walking.
I am moving very fast, but the movement is so smooth that it felt like I was walking.
I appeared below its sword, before disappearing and appearing directly in front of its chest, and I moved the sword toward it.
It summoned many defensive methods and even begin to retreat toward the meditation plate, but it was slow. My sword crushed through its defenses before piercing its chest.
In these one and a half days, my strength had increased tremendously. I found no match in Primary-III.
There is no Grimm who could even stop me for a second. Of the last thirteen Grimms I had killed, all of them died in a single attack.
It could be said that finding them took more effort than killing them.
Puch!
The sword pierced through its heart and a moment later; it had disappeared into my core. Seeing that, a smile couldn't help but appear on my face; with this Grimm, I had reached the limit.
I landed on the ground and walked toward the disc. When I suddenly stopped as I sensed something.
