Chapter 819 "No worries, Kenzo. Take care of yourself." Kenzo glanced at the message, stayed silent, and headed upstairs.
His phone buzzed again. Seeing the flashing number, he let out a derisive snort and hurled the phone against the wall.
But the phone kept buzzing, as if it refused to be silenced.
Taking a deep breath, he picked it up, looked at the cracked screen, and pressed the answer button.

In the corner of the study, Daisy shrank back in fear, probably startled by his recent outburst.
"Kenzo." Hearing her call, Kenzo's eyes narrowed, and he turned, only now noticing Daisy had been standing by the bookcase the whole time, unseen amidst his turmoil. Daisy, feeling guilty, couldn't help but move closer.
"Kenzo, what should we do? Your granddad's been so heartless, throwing us out like that, making us the laughingstock of the town." Regret painted Daisy's face.
"Kenzo, you have to helpand Alivia. You've got to make Max marry Alivia. It was Martha's last wish." Kenzo just stared at her, his dark eyes unreadable, silent.
Under his gaze, Daisy felt a chill down her spine and involuntarily reached out to tug at his sleeve.
"If it weren't forbringing you home, you'd surely have been long gone, Kenzo. You owebig time, and you can't desertand your sister now." In the social circles of Beaconsfield, few of the ladies worked; most were homemakers, tending to their families.

Aside from asking their families for money, these women were left with few skills.
Once abandoned by the Barnes family, Daisy had everything stripped away, leaving her no choice but to turn to her son.

Kenzo had always been compliant and talented, kind to Alivia. Surely, he wouldn't refuse her proposal.
"That Brielle is despicable, and Max, I can't believe he'd go to such lengths for that woman." Kenzo smiled, regaining his gentle demeanor.
"Mother speaks the truth. So, what should I do?" Daisy hesitated, her cards had been frozen. When she was cast out, she had next to nothing.
Her properties were forcefully reclaimed, and taking legal action against the Barnes family for a slice of the marital assets would surely cast her life.
Both her children were not from the Barnes family, undoubtedly a severe embarrassment to them.
The matter was still hot on the net, everyone waiting for the parties involved to respond.
"Kenzo, do you have any money left?"
