MMORPG : Rebirth Of The Strongest Vampire God-Novel
Chapter 653 Physical Changes
" Grandpa Drax….. why are all transformations so bloody painful? " Max asked as he felt every fibre of his body being painfully rewired.
Max was becoming something different, something more profound than any mortal. His body was no longer just a vessel for mana; it was becoming a conduit for the divine essence.
He was undergoing a metamorphosis that was both agonising and enlightening. Every nerve, every fibre, every cell within him was aligning to channel this ancient, vast power.
The intensity of the process was unimaginable, yet beneath the pain, there was a sense of Deja Vu waiting for Max as the process of this awakening felt similar to the time he was unable to feel mana and had to undergo draconification.
Back then, he felt his collapsed mana veins being forcefully opened up, yet now he felt his already open veins being stretched to twice or thrice their current size giving him the same feeling that it was being forced open.
Under normal circumstances, his mana veins would have been permanently damaged under such duress, but for some reason a force strumming from his very soul seemed to heal every bit of damage happening to his body almost at real time that it happened, keeping the whole process painful yet not deadly.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe first major change that occured minutes after this life altering process started was that inside of Max, a reservoir started to form, christened as the 'Sea of Essence'.
This new reservoir was gathering the divine essence that his body was now capable of harnessing as his body began channelling the divine essence flowing within the chaos realm and filtering it through his body.
This pool was physically present as a small pocket in his brain and was currently capable of condensing a maximum capacity of 20 droplets.
Simultaneously, his soul was rooting deeper into his physical form. It was a bond more profound than any he had known, an irreversible tethering that was anchoring him into this new reality. The consequences of this transformation were immediate and interconnected with his physical alterations.
His senses were not just heightened, they were transcending the bounds of mortal perception. Sounds became symphonies, sights transformed into breathtaking vistas, and smells grew into cascading bouquets of sensation.
His strength skyrocketed, every muscle in his body becoming denser and more potent. He felt capable of tearing apart mountains and reshaping landscapes with his bare hands as if he had suddenly gained 500 levels in an instant.
He felt like the very chaos realm was trembling under his palms as he was creating tremors that spread throughout the terrain.
His speed, his greatest asset, was also increasing rapidly.
His new muscles that felt like they had the strength of titanium and wouldn't snap under however much load he put on them, also felt as light as spider silk as if they had boundless strength within them, but also added no weight to his body at all.
His defence system was also becoming impenetrable, skin hardening and becoming resilient to external harm while bone structure changed at the microscopic level, changing from a porous structure to having a layered built similar to diamonds, giving it incredible hardness and compressive strength.
He could feel his vitality surging, pulsating with life force so potent that it would make him near-impervious to mortal ailments so much so that he genuinely felt like even if he chopped off a finger the wound would close within seconds.
All of his ageing that had gripped his body as a result of spending time within the time chamber and in this chaos realm, converting his one youthful visage to a middle aged man began reversing at a fast speed.
His hair colour darkened, his skin tightened and had a glow to it only seen in god's and his appearance reverted to his twenty year old charismatic self.
Max was sure that his stats were increasing rapidly, however, without a system notification to confirm his physical state, he wasn't sure just how big of an increase he was really undergoing or whether or not he was really becoming a god or did he just break past his limits and become a higher form of mortal, but he did not care.
He had spent decades trying to understand the laws of space, time and gravity and his attempt to unify the realm after understanding their true nature using mana had failed.
Now that he felt like he could use divine essence, the first thing that Max wanted to do was to re-do the experiment that had knocked him out just moments ago and this time using his newfound powers.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmIt was a very risky manoeuvre and could potentially backfire with an even bigger explosion if he was wrong, but Max was hell-bent on achieving it. Hence the moment the pain of his ongoing physical transformation became bearable.
He commanded the few drops of divine essence in his sea of essence to mobilise to his will as he tried to reconverge the three runes in his surroundings, now using wind manipulation that was powered by divine essence instead of mana as fuel.

( Meanwhile Angakok )
Angakok's eyes widened when the marker he had left in Max's soul came in contact with divine essence and established a connection with him.
This was the moment he was waiting for as it signified Max's achievement of successfully becoming a god!
Looking at Khnum Angakok said with a face that barely suppressed his excitement " Get ready sea god, the time for you to deliver on your promise has come "
Khnum who couldn't wait to vacate his old body and take over Angakok's vacant one brightened at this declaration as he followed Angakok like a loyal dog.
" I saw the boy leaving Kremeth's planet before his promotion test, he should have taken the ancient warp route to go to the edge.
Let's wait for him at the very edge of the observable universe and give him a grand surprise at re-entry" Angakok advised as the two god's left Angakok's abode and headed towards the point where Max would arrive inevitably during his return journey and where Angakok would show his true colors.
