"If I leave, who else will stick around to help you?" Clara shot Angela a glare. “Stop talking and hurry up!"
By the tthey arrived at division one, nearly half of the 50 employees were packing up their desks. Some
others were just standing by, observing the situation.
The ones who stayed put were mostly junior employees that division two hadn't bothered recruiting.
As soon as Angela and Clara entered, Nora's eyes narrowed sharply.
"Well, isn't this our lucky Ms. Graham?” she sneered. “I was planning to work hard here in division one, bring in
more projects, and help everyone make money. Thanks to you, Ms. Graham, we'll all just have to survive on
scraps now."
Her words made it sound like they couldn't land projects because of Angela.

Angela was taken aback but felt a warm sense of gratitude. After all, Clara had been indifferent when she'd first

“Clara, you're no better than me. How laughable. Weren't you the one who said you'd do anything to win
contracts? What are you pretending for?" Nora retorted.
"That's enough!" Angela's voice cut through sharply. "If you want to leave, go ahead, but make sure to complete
the handover properly. Next month, division one will represent the company at the Golden Summit Awards.
Please hand over the finalized participant list."
Nora let out a derisive laugh, crossing her arms “Oh, I'm sorry. The confirmed participants are all right here with
me. However, they're coming withwhen | leave."
"That's fine.” Angela seemed unsurprised and nodded slightly. "The door is that way. Feel free to leave,
everyone."
Clara's eyes widened in shock. She tugged at Angela's sleeve and whispered urgently," What are you doing?"
Even Nora was caught off guard. However, she quickly recovered, smirking coldly. "Well then, it seems Ms.
Graham has a lot of confidence in herself and these remaining rookies. In that case-
"Why aren't you leaving yet?” Angela interrupted impatiently. "Are you waiting forto beg you to stay?"

Then, she turned and headed for her desk, pulling Clara along with her.
She had just been promoted and hadn't yet moved into the head office.
“Alright, everyone who's not going to division two, raise your hand. | need to take a count so | can send the list
directly to the executive office," Angela said with a smile.
Everyone froze, trying to figure out what Angela was planning. Was she seriously going to let the remaining staff
compete in the event?
They exchanged confused glances, unsure of Angela's intentions.
Even those who were about to leave hesitated.
