Chapter 201
Joanne gave a nod. "Of course. You can make any request. After all, Madam Fiona is payinga lot."
"Oh?" Angela's interest was piqued. "How much does she pay you per month? | can pay you that amount myself
in the future."
"20 thousand a month." Joanne then added in her usual serious tone, "Madam Fiona gavean opportunity
when | needed it most. | only follow her instructions."
Joanne was obviously a person who repaid the kindness she received.
Angela beceven more satisfied with her. "Alright then. If you need my help with anything, feel free to ask. |
only have one request-can you smile?"
All morning, Joanne hadn't smiled once. She kept a serious expression, as if ready to fight someone at any
moment.
Joanne instinctively frowned, as if smiling was particularly difficult for her.
"Don't force yourself if you can't," Angela said, exasperated.
She glanced at her sports watch; it was just past seven. She could still nap a bit before going to work.

And so, Angela's plan to learn self-defense began.
Apart from Fiona and Joanne, she didn't tell anyone about it. Her hope was that this hidden skill could one day
save her life at a critical moment. Naturally, the fewer people who knew, the better.
At Graham Group, Bill had already issued a notice about Angela's appointment as the new CEO in a month. This
caused quite a stir within the company.
"What's going on? Why is she becoming the CEO all of a sudden? What about Mr. Graham?"
"Angela only interned in the design department for a while. Did she join the company just to prepare for this
power grab?"
"That's understandable. Who can remain calm in the face of such a huge temptation?"
Speculation was rampant. Angela caught wind of the rumors but didn't care since baseless gossip couldn't hurt
her in the slightest.
She went to DawnStar Co. to formally inform Callum of her departure and sincerely thank him for his past
support.
Unexpectedly, Callum wasn't alone in his office. Stephen and Trevor were there too. These two didn't affect
Angela's good mood; she chose to simply ignore them.
"Mr. Snowden, thank you for your care during this time. This is a small token of my appreciation," Angela said
with a smile, handing over a luxury watch she had carefully selected with both hands.
A look of surprise crossed Callum's face. "For me?"
Angela nodded. "Though my tat

"What if Mr. Snowden says he doesn't want to let you leave today? Would you stay and continue to be a
designer?" Stephen interrupted in a provocative tone.
With a composed expression, Angela said, "That's fine by me. | can stay another half month to a month. It's no
big deal."
"Now that you've proven yourself and achieved your goals, | won't keep you," Callum said.
His smile faded as he looked at
Angela, his eyes seemingly carrying a deeper meaning. "You're also

thank."
Though his words were vague, Angela understood what he was trying to say. As such, she agreed with a nod.
"Angela."
As Angela stepped out, Finn greeted her with a smile not far away. His hands were in his pockets, and it seemed
like he had been waiting for quite stime.
