First Love 108
Chapter 108
Fiona had work to do and couldn't take care of Dexter every day.
Just then, Dexter's new assistant, Noah Perry, walked over and said, "Mr. Bamford, we got an invitation to
Duke Steven's wedding in Montivale two weeks ago, but we still haven't replied."
Dexter gave Noah a surprised glance. The assistant kept his head down in a respectful posture.
"When is it?" Dexter cleared his throat, lils expression still sour. "I'm too busy to attend that playboy's wedding."
"It's three days from now," Noah answered with a slight smile. "He also said if you don't attend, he'll give that
project to DawnStar instead of us."
Dexter took longer strides and fell silent, deep in thought.
Moments later, he ordered, "Booka ticker for a flight tomorrow."
"Pardon me, Mr. Bamford. Tomorrow's flights are sold out. The only seat left is on the last flight tonight," Noah
replied.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtDexter paused for a moment.
Noah quickly lowered his head, pretending nothing happened.
“Fine, I'll make do," Dexter said, walking forward with his head held high. He even seemed a bit lighter on his
feet.
Noah nodded and quickly gave orders to find the venue and hotel where Angela's team would be staying. He
reserved ten presidential suites in advance and instructed the hotel to allocate them to Angela's group, with
Angela staying in one alone.
"Done," Noah murmured with a smile.
Just then, his phone rang.
Seeing the familiar number, he switched to a flattering tone. "Hello, Mr. Bamford Senior."
"Don't worry, everything is under control."
"Yes, indeed. | learned from the best."
“I'll make sure to get it done."
A few hours later, Angela and her team landed at the airport.

The event organizers sent people to pick them up, and two vans took them to their hotel.
"Welcto our hotel. I'm your personal concierge, Trent Ortiz. Please cwith me."
A friendly man in a neat suit led them across the lobby, through a garden, and past an artificial lake until they
reached the rooms at the back.
“Wow, the room is huge. The bed is huge. The TV is huge. The bathtub is huge!” Alan exclaimed excitedly after

"Really? But could you tone it down a bit? You sound like you've never been anywhere before,” George said,
tugging at Alan's sleeve.
"Does the hosting committee really have this much money? This room must cost at least ten thousand a night,”
Alice said in awe. Then she paused and asked, "Where are the other contestants? | don't see them."
Trent smiled and explained, “This is a special upgrade for you, courtesy of Ms. Graham's husband, Mr. Bamford.

Angela stiffened, her smile disappearing in an instant.
No wonder it seemed too good to be true.
Everyone else seemed surprised too. Swho knew about Angela's rocky relationship with Dexter whispered
that they would rather stay with the other contestants.
Others who were unaware of the situation kept praising Dexter for being so thoughtful. They said Angela was
lucky to have such a wonderful husband.
“Angela, maybe we could..." Clara began, noticing the troubled look on Angela's face.
