Leveling Endlessly with the Strongest System
Chapter 403: One vs an army of river monstersRoy brandished one of the two swords in his hands expertly, methodically channeling the power that dwelled within it using his aura.
As he charged toward the small army of river monsters, dozens of milky white rays flew out from the white sword in his left hand, each taking the shape of a crescent moon.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
They sliced through the air with incredible speed, striking the dozens of monsters that pounced on him and ripping them apart with ease.
『Ding! Congratulation. You have killed 20 low-level Humanoid Fish. You gained 20 thousand experience points and 4 shards of water!』
Delilah and Shadowless were awed by the amazing sight while the expression of the river monsters crumpled as if they had been suffering from diarrhea for so long they couldn't remember when it started.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe once tranquil river had transformed into a scene of utter chaos, with the once dormant creatures now fiercely fixating their wrathful gaze on Roy. Their eyes blazed with a madness that could shiver down any man's spine, and he knew at that moment that their thirst for his blood was insatiable.
However, he felt no fear; not an ounce of it could be detected in his eyes. It was not mere bravado that made him stand up to them, but a deep-seated sense of courage that came from within.
Anyone in his shoes would have wet their pants, but he was used to fighting tribes of monsters all alone! It was not his first time doing something so ridiculous that even the Lords would gasp in surprise, and he believed it wouldn't be his last!
As Roy approached the monsters, their menacing growls grew louder, their bodies tensing up for the attack.
He, however, never once stopped his advance as if he was injected with chicken blood, his unwavering determination and bravery a testament to his fearlessness. His heart thumped with a fierce intensity that matched the monsters' own, showing his excitement.
The creatures surged towards him with a menacing determination, their movements quick and agile, as though they were possessed, driven by an uncontrollable urge to tear him apart.
The sound of their roars echoed through the air, and he could feel their hot breath on his skin as they closed in on him.
One young man confronted an army of monsters as the waves crashed on the shore and flew high up.
Roy's steps were lightning-fast as he dodged their razor-sharp claws and weaved through the volley of tridents they had thrown at him.
Then, he struck back with a powerful blow of his own, releasing all the aura inside his inner world. Doing something like that was impossible for most, but it was possible for him as he had a unique Lord-rank Draconian Physique.
As Roy's deadly black aura that looked like a tidal wave straight out of the abyss descended upon the river monsters, the very air seemed to ripple and churn under its immense weight.
It was a crushing force, a palpable wave of death that seemed to consume everything in its path. The humanoid fishes and scaly river monsters looked small and feeble compared to it, and they were cast into a shadow of doom by its arrival, their tiny forms shaking under the weight of such power.
For a moment, they could only submit to Roy's might, their minds unable to process the sheer intensity of it all. It seemed like they had given up and were waiting to be crushed to death by his aura pressure. But then, they heard a commanding roar coming from deep within the river, and something in them shifted, and they knew what they had to do
"Grrrreeeeeaaaaahhh!"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmWith a great roar, they unleashed their own magical abilities, each one spewing forth a jet of water from their gaping maws. It was a desperate move but one born of necessity, as they knew that only by working together could they hope to stand a chance against this terrifying foe. They were wrong to look down on him, and they had realized it in time.
The water spells combined into one beautiful blue lake that confronted Roy's black aura pressure, the two forces meeting in a mighty clash that sent ripples across the river's surface. It was a battle of elemental powers, a struggle for dominance between the forces of life and death.
The river monsters' eyes lit up in hope. Water, the source of all life, was overcoming the darkness. Their combined powers were pushing back the abyssal wave.
For a moment, it seemed that they might actually have a chance to win him again.
"Now, the real fun will begin," Roy said as he curled up his lips.
His black aura was unique, causing one punch to feel like two. But it didn't only amplify his physical attacks but also his aura techniques, and the tidal wave made of his aura pressure was also considered an aura technique!
Suddenly, a massive and invisible force no less powerful than the abyssal wave emerged out of nowhere and crashed on the disastrous fusion of their spells. Half of the blue lake dissipated, fading into the ether like a wisp of smoke. The other half was smashed apart by the tidal wave that had weakened so much after the extraneous task that it failed to harm them.
The exchange resulted in neither loss nor gain for both sides.
They were back to square one.
The monsters in the river were gasping for breath, their bodies heaving with exhaustion. They had just narrowly escaped a dangerous situation and were relieved to have survived. Meanwhile, Roy, their opponent, seemed to be running low on energy as well. A bright spark glinted in the monsters' eyes as they considered his weakened state. Perhaps now was the time to avenge their brethren and take their revenge.
How much aura could one man have? He might not be able to use another aura technique. This was a chance that they couldn't afford to not grab, or so they thought.
