By the time Kyran finished adjusting the mark the Crown Princess left on several members of the order, it was already two in the afternoon.
Celine had sent a coded message to Chairman Noir and President Sigma about the current status of the Blacksmith Order and assured them everything had been taken care of.
Unfortunately, neither of them replied.
Kyran guessed they were still in the middle of their emergency meeting.
Nevertheless, he had to make a few preparations before going there and decided to go to his workroom first.
One of the preparations he did was replenishing his magic energy.
When Kyran confirmed how many high-grade replenishing potions he had to take, his heart sank.
The amount of magic energy his Void core could save was practically ten times more than an average Legendary mage could. And that was only for his Void core. If he had to also replenish his Draconic core and the multi-colored magic core, the amount made him dizzy.
A high-grade replenishing potion could replenish 30% of an average Magus's total magic reserves, 10% of an average Arch Magus, and 2% of an average Legendary.
If Kyran wanted to replenish his Void core then the amount he would need... actually, he did not want to think about it.
He already used up several high-grade replenishing potions when he recovered 80% of his magic energy earlier. The things he had done at the Shaiha Ruins did use a lot of his Draconic energy. Studying and acquiring the Saint-tier Array also used up a lot of his Void energy.
Not to mention, Kyran also gave several potions to his Sigils (except for Byron because he did not really need one) because they had a few tasks to do.
As for the pills and potions Kyran initially took from Max and Tritus, he gave them back for their use.
Regarding the Templar Code's wealth, Tritus offered to let Kyran take everything.
But Kyran rejected it since he could not possibly rob the Templar Code with their resources. Since the transfer of leadership would not be made public, if their resources suddenly disappear overnight, it would definitely cause unnecessary issues if the other factions got wind of it.
Although what happened at the Blacksmith Order today was something he had not expected, he really regretted giving out most of his provisions. Because, now, he could only replenish 30-40% of magic energy for his Void core from the remaining provision he had.
'It's times like this that I wish True Void is awake,' Kyran thought with a sigh.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtTrue Void had to enter a forced sleep. This was to ensure the Royal Family would not detect his presence.
Though True Void could hide inside Kyran, there was no telling if his central core could hide his presence without the latter 'draining' Kyran's magic energy first.
No, wait.
Kyran suddenly thought of the Shaiha and wondered if it could also hide True Void's presence from the Royal Family.
If the Shaiha could, then Kyran wouldn't have to worry about replenishing his magic energy all the time!
True Void was such a glutton that he was always attracting the magic energies in the surroundings into his body.
Then again, if True Void did attract the magic energies in the surroundings, wouldn't Kyran also attract attention? Especially those people whose magic sense was high enough to see the movement of the magic energies.
With a shake of his head, Kyran pushed these thoughts to the back of his mind. He then focused on checking the materials his puppets had used as first aid on the injured members earlier.
Most of the materials they had used were things Kyran received from the Tower of Tribulations. Seeing that they had only used a few, made Kyran feel somewhat relieved.
If his puppets used all of these materials without him 'introducing' them to the Human plane yet, would be a huge loss for him. Because most of the materials he received were only available on other planes. The only way to get it was to return to the Tower of Tribulations and hoped he could return to those planes for his training. Which was impossible.
After all, Kyran had never gone to another plane twice during his training.
He always ended up going to a new one.
Once Kyran was done checking his materials, he instructed his puppets to continue working on the requests Disciple Tyr received.
Kyran completed more than a hundred requests, but those requests were only from the first couple of days. After leaving the Blacksmith Order to go to the Shaiha Ruins, new requests specifically sent to him had already piled up.
In any case, he could finish 50-70 magic items in one day depending on his magic energy...
Recalling he needed magic energy to actually create the materials he would need for the magic items, made him recall his almost depleted stock of potions and pills.
Heaving another sigh, Kyran made a mental note to rob— err— ask compensation from the Lumley Family for everything they had done to him, during tomorrow's meeting.
Taking out the communication disc, he also sent a coded message to Byron.
Once Kyran started working at the Blue Lotus, he knew the problem he had with resources and provisions would be taken care of.
After all, the Blue Lotus's other business produces more profit.
When Kyran finished adjusting the program of his puppets, he connected his magic sense to the Royal Army's magic detector.
He first had to confirm if there were any Royal Army near or inside the Tower of Conclave.
However, the moment he connected to the Royal Army's system, what he discovered nearly made his scalp go numb.
Previously, he had sensed several high-level mages keeping an eye on the Tower of Conclave.
Because of this, Kyran had asked Nolan's essence to investigate.
Now, after checking the Royal Army's system, he found several Grand Masters, and even Exalted on standby at least a hundred kilometers away from the Tower of Conclave!
And these mages did not have the signature of the Royal Army or the Royal Guards.
The Royal Army and Royal Guards were currently at the Courtenay residence because that was where the Crown Princess— and probably the Emperor too— was currently staying.
Kyran focused on the Courtenay residence, where he found the Crown Princess and the Emperor's presence.
He was not surprised that the two had already returned to the Courtenay residence. What surprised him was there was three unknown presence with them.
Most of all, these three, were at least Legendary mages.
Kyran's eyes turned cold as he observed the three unknown mages.
He did not need to go there to know that those three were not from the Human plane.
As per True Void, before Kyran's predecessor, the previous Void Master, died, there was one other mage who possessed a high magic level.
From what True Void had insinuated, that mage became a Sovereign before the previous Void Master even became a Sage. It was because of this that the former did not meddle in the war between the humans and the demons and only observed.
However, that mage seemed to be close to the Void Master and had sent out an essence to accompany him.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmIt was unknown what happened to that mage's essence after the Void Master died.
But Kyran could guess that the reason for True Void's offhanded remark about the Human plane's Sovereign being useless at the moment, was because he or she was distraught by his predecessor's death.
He or she probably went to slumber because of it. If not, there would not have been other Sovereigns who could brazenly enter the Human plane right now.
That was right.
The three unknown mages in the Courtenay residence were definitely Sovereigns from another plane.
When Sovereigns entered a different plane from theirs, if that plane was occupied, their magic level would drop two levels. That was how these three mages were only at the Legendary level.
Kyran closed his eyes and retracted his magic sense.
The truth, he was not sure what exactly was his mage level. He knew he could now face a Sovereign one on one.
Of course, he could not exactly kill one. But he could keep up and might even find a chance to win if it became a battle of attrition.
As long as True Void was with him, Kyran was confident he could win. If he could get True Void's body, he might really have the strength to fight equally with a Sovereign.
But fighting three Sovereigns was out of the question. Though these three were currently at the Legendary level, their battle experiences still far exceed Kyran's.
Apart from this, Kyran was not omnipotent.
Others believed Void magic was invincible but that was not the case.
His greatest weakness was his magic energy.
Though there was a legend about the Shaiha generating magic energy by itself, Kyran was not sure how.
The Shaiha told him it could conceal itself but Kyran was still afraid that once he tried to learn how to use it, he would draw the attention of every Sovereign outside the Human plane.
In any case, Kyran had to be careful in using his magic.
These three mages were the biggest threat to him and to his plan at the moment.
Nevertheless, knowing they were here, confirmed Kyran's assumption.
