"Then...get used to it!" Lily laughed.
It was late at night.
The room was quiet, and the person on the bed seemed sound asleep, breathing evenly.
Suddenly, a corner of the quilt was lifted, and the man sat up. However, he didn't seem to be in a hurry. He turned his head to look
at the woman beside him. When he saw that the woman was still fast asleep with her back against him, he slowly put his feet down
and stood up lightly. Then he quietly walked out.
As soon as he left the room, the woman on the bed opened her eyes and stared at the closed door.

Amid the darkness, her clear eyes were filled with tears. She turned her head slowly and saw that the wheelchair parked beside
the bed had not moved at all. However, there was no one sleeping beside her. She felt her heart slowly drop to the ground,
breaking into a thousand pieces.
‘He's really lying to me! Why did he pretend to be handicapped and sit in a wheelchair when he could already walk?’
Taking deep breaths to calm herself down, Olivia got up, put on a coat, and quietly left the room.
The living room was empty. She looked toward the door and noticed Edward's house slippers. It was obvious that he had gone out.
‘Where is he going by himself in the middle of the night?’
After sconsideration, she changed into her shoes and followed him out. She took the elevator to the first floor and left the
apartment, only to find that her car, which was parked around the corner, was gone. Now, she was stunned.
Edward's legs were fine, and he could even drive by himself. Olivia didn't know any of this and thought he had been badly hurt and
was still in critical condition, but he was now driving in the middle of the night to an unknown location.
‘Where is he going?’
Thinking about this, she couldn't hold back and decided to call Lily.
When Lily received the call, she had just returned hfrom Dominic's house. She was tired from collecting the rare herbs in the
greenhouse.

Alexander had also just reached ha moment ago and had been waiting for her. Before he could say a word, her phone rang.
"Ugh..." She groaned, a little tired. She didn't feel like answering the phone.
"It's already so late. You don't have to answer it," Alexander said in distress when he saw her exhaustion.
The couple had been extremely busy. He had the means to stay busy because he was a man. However, with Lily's current situation,
it was tiring for her to go around like this.
They were always thinking about the viruses and the harm they might bring, as if they were tasked with saving the world.
However, they couldn't just let this slide. They would do whatever they could to handle this.
Even at such a moment, Lily still took out her phone and looked. The caller ID that greeted her startled her, and she looked at
Alexander. "It's Olivia!"
