Jason made huge gains by purchasing the Logbook about all races for 500 Merit points.

The moment he knew the name of a race that opposed him, he would be able to find out the strength of their strongest powerhouse.

This was extremely useful, and something he should definitely know if he were to offend any race.

In the end, the possibility of him offending someone was extremely high, and being a little prepared for every possible scenario was great.

With that in mind, he was glad to have purchased the Logbook even if it was extremely expensive.

Unfortunately, this meant that he was only left with 388 Merit Points.

It was not possible to purchase any kind of great technique with such low points but that was fine. He had purchased what he wanted and didn't require any more techniques. ɴᴇᴡ ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀʀᴇ ᴘᴜʙʟɪsʜᴇᴅ ᴏɴ novelenglish.net . fire(.)nᴇt

The four techniques he had just purchased were already more than enough to cope up with, and Jason knew that he would require years to master them.

He even believed that he was being a little overconfident with the fact that a few years would be enough to master the technique.

Sighing deeply, Jason could only shake his head and leave the Library for good.

Now, instead of focusing on purchasing anything, he wanted to figure out something else.

Even if he was not sure where he would be teleported to once he left the dungeon, it was unlikely for his teleportation to be at a good spot.

Either, he would end up in the middle of the storm where he had entered the Chaos Obelisk, or he might be teleported above the Kinra island. But he had a sinking feeling that it was most likely buried deep underground owing to the movements of the Gigantic Island tortoise.

However, there was also the possibility that he might be teleported somewhere completely different, which was not exactly advantageous either.

Because of that, Jason was currently looking for a reward that allowed him to be teleported wherever he wanted.

Receiving such a reward would be great, and it might even allow him to emerge on Tagran. It was the place where Wisse and his master were probably waiting for him.

It was also highly likely that they had forgotten about him after all these years, but that was not something he knew for sure.

Jason only knew that Wisse's master was afine to the Chaos affinity, which meant that he or she should know the Chaos Emperor.

As such, Jason could narrow his search for the Chaos Emperor that would most likely be able to tell him more about his grandparents, if they were alive, and much more.

Unfortunately, Jason felt that he was too weak to start the search for his grandparents, let alone the Chaos Emperor. His instincts told him that he would die if he were to start searching now.

Owing to this instinct, he didn't grow restless. Instead of rushing things, Jason decided to focus on gaining a proper cultivation foundation as it was the most important.

Other than that, he didn't want to leave Manyr either.

Rather than wanting to leave Manyr, he had grown fond of the place much more than was the case with Argos. That was because the beasts and intelligent races could live harmoniously, and some even helped each other.

This was something that could have never existed on Argos, which was sad.

However, Jason understood why it had been like that on Argos. Both humans and the beasts had been too afraid and wary of each other, leading to them attacking one another.

Nevertheless, the fact that beasts and the intelligent races could live next to each other without too many issues was not the only thing Jason liked on Manyr.

The real reason for him to want to stay on Manyr was that he wanted to meet Jennifer again.

It sounded ridiculous to him because they hadn't been with each other for long. But it was almost as if she had bewitched him. Ever since they had separated, he thought about her more often than he wanted to acknowledge.

With that in mind, he felt that he should search for a reward that would teleport him to a place of his choice. Rather than relying on his luck, or purchasing something else with his last remaining Merit points, he preferred to go someplace he wanted to!

Through this, he took a proper look at all stores in the alleys of the city-like treasury.

This took quite some time in which he thoroughly observed every possible item. This helped him have a rough estimation of what items he might need if he had some Merit points left after he found the teleportation reward.

Fortunately, it didn't take him long to find the reward he had been looking for. Oddly enough there were more than a dozen different types of teleportation rewards.

As such, he took a look at the teleportation reward that allowed him to choose his destination irrespective of the distance.

Because of that, he had to pay 100 Merit points, which was clearly written on the reward sign.

Even though that was almost a third of what he had with him, Jason felt that it was worth the price. As long as he could avoid the uncertainty of emerging in the middle of nowhere, he would pay the amount.

With that in mind, he set aside 100 Merit points before choosing items according to the last 288 Merit points he had.

Unfortunately, this was easier said than done because there were simply too many things he wanted to purchase yet too little that he could actually purchase.

Thinking about this, he thought that purchasing techniques only for himself might have been a little bit unfair and selfish.

Thus, he returned to the dojo, looking for techniques his soulbonds could use.

To his misfortune, there was not even a single technique that had been customized for beasts. Additionally,? the comprehension required to learn the techniques of intelligent races was extremely high.

Despite that, Jason couldn't help but halt in his tracks for a moment. Smiling faintly, he recalled something that was obvious, yet not easily perceptible.

'Don't my soulbonds receive an enhancement in their intelligence after they were bound to me?

They're sharing their strength with me, and the soulbond contract allows them to become more intelligent, wasn't that the case?'

Until now, Solaris was the soulbond that had gained the most intelligence from the soulbond contract.

Not only did it gain sentience, but it was also able to learn how to feel emotions, express itself, and much more.

With that thought, Jason wondered if he should purchase some Terra ranked techniques for his soulbonds to try and learn, followed by Heaven ranked techniques which they could learn afterward.

It might be a waste of merit points if it wouldn't work properly, but in that case, he could still auction off the techniques that his soulbonds couldn't use.

Through this, he wouldn't make any losses or minimize them.

Instead, his soulbonds gained the chance to show that they were more than normal beasts, that they could also use specific techniques of intelligent races.

He knew that it was necessary to pay attention to what kind of techniques he purchased because most required the usage of hands and feet

But by spending enough time inside the dojo, it was not a problem to find a few dozen techniques.

Thinking about it again, he didn't want or use all of his remaining Merit points for techniques.

Instead, there were also a few extremely rare materials that he wanted to purchase with his Merit points.

Even an unlimited fortune wouldn't allow him to purchase certain things on Manyr.

He knew that this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see so many useful things under one roof.? It would take an eternity for him to find some of the materials ever again.

With that in mind, Jason purchased all kinds of materials he could make use of in the future. The most expensive item cost 50 merit points and with that, the last step of his reward session was completed.

The last three years inside the dungeon had been extremely interesting.

Yet, at the same time, he couldn't help but feel a little bit odd because he believed that the Julandra region had changed more than it would normally be the case.

A span of three years was nothing for Cultivators and time seemed to move differently for them.

However, given the fact that the Inheritance sites had emerged on Kinra that had surfaced years ago, Jason couldn't help but feel as if it would be Deja-vu once again.

It felt similar to the time he awoke his primary Celestia bloodline, after which the Great Argos war had truly started.

With that in mind, Jason couldn't help but feel a little restless when he stared at the teleportation reward.

He had already chosen the Julandra region, or to be precise a location close to Luna's city. Now, the only thing he had to do was to use his merit points to activate the teleportation.

But… Why did he feel so restless right now?
