Jonathan turned to chat with someone else, seemingly oblivious of the glass of water Carmella was holding out to
him. He didn’t take it. Carmella stood there, stuck in the “offering water’ pose. She didn’t dare to withdraw her hand

The man, eager to get close to the Lamont Group, immediately answered, “Our company manufactures LCDs. Our
brand is somewhat known both domestically and internationally. We hope to have the opportunity to collaborate
with Mr. Lamont”
Jonathan’s tone was icy. “The chances of a collaboration are slim. If Mr. Irwin’s company still exists tomorrow, it

Terrence, with a stern look on his face, turned to his people, “What are you waiting for? Get Mr. Irwin out of here!”
Mr. Irwin was sweating bullets as he tried to plead. “Mr. Lamont, did I say something wrong? I beg your forgiveness.
