Chapter 3259 Fourth Daughter
"…"
Davis was awestruck by seeing what he had. He had all this in the palm of his hands, not wanting to lose it. Now, Myria's words were all the more striking in his ears.
Isabella and Shirley also had tears swelling in their eyes.
Shea Goldsun's child was supposed to be their last resort against Davis's anger which was justified because Evelynn objectively messed up Clara's treatment, but he wasn't even pissed off slightly, causing them to not know what to say other than feeling fulfilled.
The others were also waiting in glee.
Their man returned, and they wanted to start a banquet already if it weren't for Clara and Tia's situation, but Shea's baby was born, returning the joy they almost lost.
It took a few moments for Davis to regain himself, causing him to return his gaze to the wonderful child he had with Shea. He raised his head to look at her again.
"Do you have a name in mind?"
"I do… Auria, Solanda, Solae, Solara, Solarae, but they're all used by my Golden Crow Clan and even the Golden Phoenix Clan already." Shea swiftly spoke.
Because she was weaker compared to her siblings, she simply didn't get to be named near to the fabled sun at all. Fortunately, she had the Goldsun Clan name, but her daughter wouldn't have it, so she wondered if Davis would name their daughter somewhere near, but she also wanted their daughter's name to be unique.
"The Golden Crow does tend to be passionate about the Solar Reverence."
Davis wryly smiled, but the ladies titled their heads.
"Solar Reverence…?
"That's for another day." Davis shook his head, "If no one wants to suggest some names, then I'll name a few that's apt and accommodating to your wishes, Shea."
Shea revealed a delightful smile, appearing eager.
"She radiates a vibrant glow, don't you think? How about Rayna Davis? Or does Heliara Davis sound good? Perhaps Dawnstar Davis? No, that doesn't sound adequate."
Davis wondered out loud.
"How about Sheria? It rings with her mother's name…?" Panqa voiced out with an innocent look.
Everyone turned to look at Panqa Jadelight while even Davis blinked at her, his blank expression turning into a light smile.
"It doesn't have anything to do with the sun but… I like it. It has a bright and cheerful tone to it. Shea, what do you think?"
He asked, causing Shea's gaze to flicker.
As a woman from the Golden Crow Clan, she was also fascinated with the sun, wanting her son or daughter to be named after its magnificence, but the man she loved said he liked it, causing her heart to throb.
"Then Sheria Davis it is~"
Shea agreed, causing everyone's smile to blossom.
Evelynn borrowed Sheria from Davis and called out her name after a kiss. The tiny baby with a bit of golden hair and eyes resembling that of her mother merely let out a comfortable noise and remained comfy inside the cloth that wrapped around her.
"At the very least, we shall have a naming ceremony for this child and crown Shea as the nineteenth wife soon. What do you think, husband?"
"Of course, I'll be staying here for a week, and even if not for this week, I'll soon establish a base somewhere nearby. At that time, you can all meet me regardless of time."
"Don't believe this man. He's trying to get you all on the same bed!"
"Ahaha!"
Everyone couldn't help but laugh when Mingzhi entered the scene with her hands behind her back. She strode forward like a queen before finding a corner to sit, crossing one leg over another.
"Even if you all agree to it, I'm afraid duty calls."
"What happened?"
Davis frowned as he asked Mingzhi. He knew she wouldn't have shown up if it wasn't for something important.
"Accursed Warlock made a move."
"!!!"
"News is circulating that a mysterious man destroyed the main branch of the Ghost Tear Hall, although one of your master's disciples relayed the information to my intelligence network that most of them managed to escape and even thwart Accursed Warlock, although the damage has been done."
"Are you serious?" Davis stood up.
Why hadn't Master Deathseeker contacted him? Could it be because he thought that an Immortal King like him wouldn't prove to be very useful and only die in vain?
"I wouldn't joke about this matter." Mingzhi also stood up, "Also, the Fire Phoenix Clan and Cyan Soul Rat Clan have sent their envoys to the Aurora Cloud Gate, wanting to have a ceasefire with you."
"…"
Davis's lips couldn't help but curl into a mocking smile, but it quickly turned wry.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmHe had just wanted to spend a few hours with his family, but not a single moment went without something happening. Either he was getting falsely accused, or some kind of structure was collapsing with Calypsea burning it down or Accursed Warlock razing or cursing it into oblivion.
If it was a silk pants young master in his shoes, that person would be having a breakdown right now.
"Well, I'm not going to meet the envoys from the two factions, but I'll go meet my master. If it weren't for him, you might all be targeted."
Davis had his eyes narrowed in fury, "A big payback is in store for that bastard who deserves a thousand deaths."
The expressions of Evelynn and the others were solemn with rage as well.
The man known as Accursed Warlock was a plague on their lives, and even though he was only after Myria, they didn't blame her at all but got enraged in her stead.
"Master, you can't be serious." However, Lereza suddenly descended from the ceiling and interrupted, "This is precisely why your master didn't contact you. Even if you can battle an entire stage above, you simply won't survive an encounter with the Accursed Warlock. You need to concentrate on your cultivation and enter the next stage first."
"Cultivation…? Next stage...?"
Davis couldn't help but laugh lightly, his reaction garnering some questions.
Immortal Emperor? Davis knew if he dared to even think about placing his foot into that realm, there was someone who was going to surely visit him and say 'get out'. His fears were only confirmed by the story Tia narrated, making him believe that there was a ninety percent chance that the same scenario would occur.
"Look-"
Davis had just spoken when his pupils dilated, every fiber of his muscle stiffening to a degree that made him appear frozen like an ice statue. Regardless, his mind was moving, and he could realize that he was standing on a vast prairie with no trees or mountains.
"It's time— we meet." A calm voice gently flowed across the air.
Turning to look beside, he saw Myria. But clearly, it wasn't her voice as she also appeared to be thoroughly dumbfounded, causing his heart to shudder as he slowly turned to look back.
There were a few lakes connected by bridges and a pagoda canopy at the center where a purple-robed woman sat, brewing some kind of oddity with her frail hands. Her side profile created a mystical outlook, making him want to stand before her and grab the veil to see her otherworldly beauty, but such thoughts were snuffed out the moment he thought of a certain person.
"World Master…"
Myria uttered as her eyes narrowed.
