Serenity complied with his wishes and changed into the most conservative dress in her wardrobe. Zachary
volunteered to help his wife with her makeup again.

“I still care about my appearance.”

A maid stood at the door of the room and said respectfully when Zachary opened the door, “Your parents have
arrived.”

“Who was it?” Serenity asked as she put on her makeup.
“My parents are here.”
“Well, why aren’t you going downstairs then?”
“This is their son’s home. They’re free to do whatever they want here. They don’t need me to accompany them.”
Zachary went up behind Serenity and watched her put on her makeup. “Honey, you don’t need to dress up so
beautifully. In fact, I think you look great au naturel. You’re naturally beautiful, so you’re still the most beautiful
woman on earth even without makeup.”
“Don’t say I’m the most beautiful woman on earth. You’ll make people die of laughter.”
“You’re the most beautiful woman in my eyes. Just light makeup is enough.”
