Theodore felt a terrible pain in his chest.

"That damned burglar! He should have just focused on stealing things instead of being a busybody." Suddenly, someone knocked on the ward door. Theodore furrowed his brows, feeling beyond frustrated. The knocking continued.

Theodore pulled the sheets over his head.

The person outside the ward seemed worried that Theodore might do something foolish and opened the door and barged in.

The moment the door was opened, Theodore grabbed the table lamp by the bed and flung it at the door. He roared, "Get out!" A woman shrieked, "Ahh!" Aurora could feel a sharp pain on her forehead. She stumbled and crashed on the floor as blood dripped from her forehead.

When Theodore realized it was Aurora, he immediately sat up on the bed and was about to get out of it. However, his stomach suddenly churned. The pain made him collapse on the floor.

"Mr. Spencer!" Aurora struggled to crawl up from the floor and dashed toward Theodore. She bent over to help him up. "Are you alright?" Theodore looked up and saw the blood on Aurora's forehead. "Why are you here?" The fierce and aggressive look on Theodore's face frightened Aurora.

"I... I'm here to visit you." Theodore shook her hand away hard, and stood up by himself. He returned to the bed and sat down on it.

"Who asked you to come?" he barked.

How did Aurora know that he was at the hospital? Someone must have told her.

He had a guess as to who it was.

Aurora explained honestly, "Your mother calledand toldabout it. She said that something happened to you, and askedto csee you.

"Mr. Spencer, are you alright?" Aurora asked with concern, not even slightly bothered by the injury on her forehead.

Theodore felt slightly guilty. He had thought it was someone else at the door and didn't expect it to be Aurora. When it dawned on him how reckless he had been, he sighed and said, "Why didn't you say anything?" Had she said so much as a word, he wouldn't have flung the table lamp.

"You're right. I should have said something. It's my fault for barging in without permission. It's just that you didn't respond when I knocked. I was worried you might do O something foolish, so..." Theodore furrowed his brows, irritated. What's wrong with all oce you? Worried that I'd do something foolish. Aren't you people the foolish ones?" G Aurora looked stunned at him, unable to say a word.

She lowered her head, tears trickling down her face. She wasn't angry at Theodore; she was just worried about him.

Seeing her tears, Theodore thought he must have frightened her. He wanted to explain himself, but what was the point of doing that? In his current state, he really didn't want to see anyone.

"Get a doctor to help treat your wound," he told Aurora.

"I'm fine," Aurora said. "I'm just worried about you and cto visit you. I also have something to tell you." "What is it?" Theodore asked.

Aurora was about to answer him when Theodore cut her off. "Wait." She was still bleeding from her forehead.

Theodore sighed helplessly, "Get your forehead treated before coming again to tellwhat you have in mind." Aurora was a stubborn woman indeed.

She wiped the tears from her face. "Really?" "When have I ever lied to you?" he said, quite frustrated. "Go on." If her wound got infected, things would only get even more complicated.

"Alright. I'll cover once I'm done. Wait for me, please?" Theodore nodded. "Go ahead." His eyes had softened.

Aurora ran out of the ward.

Theodore sighed. Seeing the smashed table m lying on the table lamp lying floor guilt flashed past his eyes.

He mumbled under his breath, "Theodore Spencer, singe, when 'did you becso useless?"
