Bella‘s POV: I thought for a moment and said, “Please thank Gary for me. Lucky‘s a stubborn child. It

must be hard for her.”

I knew that Gary was a person who could be trusted. Although Herbert had done a lot of harm to me,

he took good care of Lucas.

That was why I could rest assured that Lucky was with him for the time being. “Okay.” Herbert nodded,

then glanced at me, turned around, and left with Lucas. In the next few days, Herbert would come to

see me with Lucas every morning, bringing photos of Lucky every day. I saw that Lucky was very well–
