Chapter 0113 +25 BONUS Chapter 0113 Ella POV A chill ran through me, and goosebumps rose along my arms. There was so much intensity in Alexander's words that I didn't doubt for a second he meant them.
I watched as David paused, the gravity of the situation sinking in. But after a moment, he shook off his hesitation and lunged forward, managing to land a punch on Alexander. Alexander stumbled backward for a brief second, but I didn't see what happened next.
Suddenly, David flew back, his feet actually leaving the ground with the force of whatever struck him. He hit the wall with a loud thud, knocking the video camera over as he fell.
David lay on the ground, glaring up at Alexander, who strode calmly toward him, shaking out his hand as if it stung.
"Let's not drag this out anymore," Alexander said, his tone steady. "The guards will be here to arrest you in a few minutes, so start talking." "What?" David said, struggling to his feet. "What do you mean, talking?" "Tellwhat you used," Alexander commanded, his voice low and threatening. "What did you drug Ella and my guard with?" David smirked, blood staining his teeth. "Why are you making such a big deal out of that?" he slurred. "It's not like it's the first tI've drugged her." "What?" I gasped, shock rippling through me. I almost couldn't believe I'd heard him right, but the wicked grin on his face confirmed it.
"You'd better explain yourself," Alexander growled, stepping forward and grabbing David by the throat. He yanked him off his feet, holding him inches above the ground before dropping him to his feet as his cold, dangerous eyes bore into him.

His gaze flicked to me, and in a clear, teasing voice, he said, "What do you think happened to your wolf?" I felt fear and anger rise up within me, and I tried to get to my feet, but I was unable to keep my shaking legs steady.
Alexander glanced at me. "Don't try to move too much," he said. "Getting your blood pressure up will only cause the drug to spread further." "It's too late for that," David said, sounding amused. "That drug is either going to get worked out of her system the natural way or kill her. It's Ella's choice." "What do you mean the natural way?" Alexander asked, looking at him suspiciously.
"Ella may not have a wolf anymore, but the drug still worked, it seems. She's in heat." Rage flashed through Alexander's eyes and he started to move, but his foot hit the camera. He looked down at it, and I could see the realization of exactly what he had interrupted dawning on him.
"What were you doing in here?" he asked, raising his eyes to David's. "What the hell did you do to her?" "Nothing she doesn't like," David answered with a grin.
The look of rage on Alexander's face made my blood run cold. I was so concerned he might do something terrible 1/3 +25 BONUS Chapter 0113 in his anger that I barely had tto process David's words Alexander moved in a flash, bringing his head forward and headbutting David in the face. There was an audible crunch, and when Alexander moved away, blood was flowing from David's now broken nose.
"Answer me!" Alexander ordered.
"Nothing," I said as loudly as I could to be sure he would hear me. "You got here in time. All he's done is take photos." Alexander glanced at me, a mix of emotions swimming in his eyes as he took in my nearly nude form. "Giveyour phone," Alexander demanded, his attention how fixed on David.
David glared back, making no move to comply. The tension between them crackled in the air, and I could sense that things were about to spiral out of control. David was already badly injured, but I knew that wouldn't stop him. And Alexander-he looked ready to tear him apart. I couldn't let this escalate any further.
"David, be reasonable," I urged, my voice tense but calm.
He scoffed, his face twisting with bitterness. “That's rich coming from you," he spat. "If you had only been reasonable, none of this would have happened. All you had to do was overlook my little indiscretion and honor your wedding vows!" I snapped, the words flying out before I could stop them. “If I had done that, I'd have ended up dead!" The room fell into a stunned silence. I could feel both of them staring at me, caught off guard by the raw truth in my voice. David was the first to break the silence.
"What are you talking about?” he asked, his voice tinged with genuine confusion.
I glared at him, all the hatred and fury from my past life boiling over. This man had destroyed everything-he had killed my father, he had killed me-yet he had the audacity to stand there and pretend like he didn't know. Like he was innocent.
My mind was still in a fog, but I realized that I had said too much. I couldn't explain my second chance to them. I couldn't tell them what Amanda and David had done toand my family. I had to act like none of that had ever happened.
I had to keep hiding the truth.

Alexander grabbed David by the arm around suddenly and wrenched it around, pinning it behind him. David cried out in pain and struggled, but Alexander was able to snatch David's phone from his pocket. He shoved David away with force, causing him to fall to the ground once again. While David was down, Alexander held the phone up to David's face and used the facial recognition to unlock it.
I saw him tapping away at the screen as he deleted the photos.
David took the opportunity to bolt for the door. I watched him run out into the hallway and vanish from sight. I could hardly believe that Alexander simply let him leave.
When Alexander had finished with the phone, he pulled his tie pin off and used the end to eject the SIM comm card from the phone He then put the card into his pocket and dropped the phone to the ground. He went to the camera and turned it off. Then he took the disk out and snapped it in half, dropping those pieces into his pocket as well. "You let him leave," I said in disbelief as Alexander sat on the edge of the bed beside me.
"He doesn't matter right now; I can deal with him later," he said. He brought his hand up and gently touched my cheek. The moment his skin touched mine, a low whine escaped from my throat.

I was embarrassed, but I couldn't hold the sound back. The heat had only grown since he arrived, and at this point it felt like my skin was on fire. Alexander's touch was cool and comforting. Alexander's eyes widened slightly as he looked at me. I could only imagine how pathetic I must seem to him.
Still, he didn't pull his hand away.
"It's alright," he said softly. "I'm here now and I'm going to take care of you." Today's Bonus Offer
