He affectionately patted her head and said, “I'l make you pork stew with potatoes later. Make sure you eat more. It’s not just for you but for our future baby too.” Laura playfully objected, “But we don't have a baby yet!” “Are you questioning my abilities?” he asked.
Of course, she wouldn't dare challenge him on that.
