“Then there’s nothing to worry about.”

Aubrey smiled. “As long as he’s infected, there’s no way he can leave. FlPack’s alpha has
already ordered that everyone who’s been here must be screened before leaving. No exceptions.
Unless he manages to escape Sineville Town’s perimeter and get on a plane. But once infected,
even an alpha’s body can’t withstand travel. He’s destined to never get out.”
The thought of Ulrich-the bastard behind the Lupine virus-dying put Aubrey in a rare good mood.
She laughed softly. “The only thing to worry about now is him spreading rumors abouttaking
the ‘billion-dollar treasure.” What do we do about that?”
She had the goods, but moving them all in this situation was impossible for her as an omega. All
she could do was look expectantly at Alpha Henry.
Her gaze pleased him greatly.
With a mysterious smile, he said, “Relax. Withhere, it’ll be fine. Since we can’t take it away,
we'll just sell it here.”
“sell it?”
Henry nodded. “Plenty already know that when | was in Stella Pack, | got hold of Ulrich’s supplies. They just

out. After all, FlPack has the largest underground trading market in the world, doesn’t it?”
Aubrey’s lips curved. That solved everything. Converting the treasure directly into cash and securing it in
accounts was the safest path.
She arched a brow at him. “Then we split it eighty-twenty. You get twenty, | get eighty?”
Her businesslike tone made Henry’s mouth twitch with amusement.
With anyone else, he wouldn't even accept a fifty-fifty split-the risks outweighed the rewards.
But Aubrey... he was already hers entirely. Why bother dividing anything at all?
“Whatever you say,” he replied casually. Seeing the spark in her eyes brighten, he nearly told her he’d give it all
to her. But he held back, knowing her pride would never allow it.
To prevent FlPack from discovering the treasure had been dug up in Sineville, Henry had.

the cave blown apart once everything was removed. The lab of horrors buried deep beneath the earth with it.
The virus research there had already harmed countless lives-it had no right to remain. Still, Aubrey had salvaged
svaluable research documents to take back.
Once everything was settled, and with the patients of Sineville Town showing improvement, Flame
Pack’s alpha extended an invitation to Henry for a grand banquet, also inviting Aubrey’s medical
team to express gratitude for their aid.
Aubrey knew her own contribution hadn’t been significant. The banquet was clearly meant for
Henry. But his situation was delicate-he had to avoid unnecessary contact. Which meant she would
need to work hard to manage things.
After they were dressed and screened for infection, they boarded a plane to FlPack’s capital
city, Cedarl.
When they arrived, the wolf healers following Aubrey looked unsettled.
The wealth gap in FlPack was staggering. The rich rode in carriages plated with gold, while the
poor wore trinkets scavenged from trash heaps. After so long in the impoverished Sineville Town,
the sudden sight of glittering towers left them reeling.
Henry was already used to it. Aubrey, too, knew she couldn’t change such things now, so she
followed him inside.
The two of them-whether in appearance, aura, or status-were dazzling together. The moment they
entered the ballroom, every eye turned their way.
“satia, look-there, that’s the alpha of Shadowmoon Pack! He’s the top alpha of the northern
continent, they say even stronger than the royals‘ alphas. If someone could bechis Luna, their
family’s status would soar overnight.”
The words cfrom a lavishly adorned she-wolf named Shamin, whispered to the strikingly
beautiful female beside her.
