Chapter 415: Clumsy lies
Daisy Ginger got herself ready and cout of the conservatory with the divorce agreement when a black
sedan was already parked at the door.
A young man stood in front of the car, nodded at her when he saw her cout, and opened the car door.
Daisy walked forward, sat in the back seat, and then placed the divorce agreement on her lap, reading it word by
word.
She didn’t know when it had been printed, but each clause clearly divided their relationship.
It didn’t mention splitting his billions as he had threatened her before, just simply writing down everything they
had lived through together over the years.
At the end of the document, he requested her to return the platinum diamond ring he had once given her.
Daisy leaned back in the car seat, finding the sunlight a bit glaring, exhaled gently, and closed her eyes.

Returning to the Stephens family home, Edward Stephens was not there either. Daisy put the document
downstairs and went upstairs to take a shower.
When she cout of the bathroom, Daisy saw Lady Stephens holding her copy of the divorce agreement,
hesitating at the door.
Seeing her, she looked up, her eyes red.
"..." Daisy was silent for a moment and slightly stepped aside, "Cin."
Lady Stephens took a breath, her voice trembling as if she was about to cry.
With her hair wrapped, Daisy walked over and drew back the curtains.
Sunlight slanted in, and Daisy leaned against the windowsill, looking at Lady Stephens standing in front of her.
"Auntie, is there something you want to say?"
"Are you... getting a divorce?"
"So much has happened, staying together would be meaningless, wouldn't it?"

and Charlotte..."
"Don’t ask me, why not ask Charlotte Smith? The child is in her womb; doesn’t she know better?"
Her words left Lady Stephens without the courage to ask further questions.
"Daisy..." she called her ntearfully, "I'm really sorry."
"Let it go," Daisy said, "You're also a winner. Enjoy your wealthy lady life, and don’t ctoagain. When you
deceived me, you were no longer the Auntie Stephens | knew."
Lady Stephens cried with red eyes, her lips trembling, unable to refute.
"Can | ask you one more question?"

Such a clumsy lie, perhaps in the whole world, could only fool her.
As long as she believed, the whole world believed.
She loved Edward Stephens so much, how could she have mistaken someone else for him?
