Chapter 324 As Cheryl lifted her glass, she looked at Suzanne.
Frankly speaking, she knew that this wouldn't have gone so smoothly if Suzanne hadn't acted as a go-between.
Cheryl thought about how Suzanne was still willing to help her despite how she treated her in the past. Remorse ate at Cheryl even further.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe expression on Suzanne's face was as usual. She picked up her glass of wine from the table and clinked glasses with both Marsha and Cheryl.
She had a rough idea about how Cheryl was feeling. However, she did not wish to split hairs over such a small matter.
Meanwhile, Charles was just snacking on fruits by the side, staying out of the conversation between the three women.
Marsha raised her glass and looked at Charles. She smiled and urged, "Dr. Jennings, join us." Charles was taken aback for a brief moment. Following that, he lifted his lips and picked up his glass from the table. "Cheers." That being said, after he inched closer to Marsha, he warned her in a voice so low that only she could hear him, "Hold back on those drinks. Mind your health." He had refrained from commenting much about her visiting such a rowdy place. As for the alcohol, she should avoid drinking as much as she could. Taking her physical condition into consideration, she shouldn't be so stubborn.
Marsha shot him a glare when she saw how carefree he was. She harrumphed silently. Why did he have to be such a wet blanket at a tlike this? Suzanne raised a brow in surprise. When did Marsha and Charles get so close? She remembered her last visit to Night Charm Bar being the first tthey met. Was there something going on between this pair? As Suzanne continued observing them, the grin on her face widened.
Marsha froze. Damn it, Suzanne must have misunderstood something! Deep down, she couldn't help but sigh.
At this moment, Suzanne was staring at Charles, who was looking at his phone. She raised her glass at him. "Dr. Jennings." Charles lifted his head and placed his phone down immediately. He raised his glass to Suzanne. "Suz-" He stopped. Then, he corrected himself, "Ms. Yates." They clinked glasses.
Smiling, Suzanne looked into Charles' eyes and said, "Please keep today's incident a secret, Dr. Jennings." She did not want Austin to find out. Otherwise, he would worry about her again.

With a slight smile on his face, he asked, "Ms. Yates, do you think that this can really be kept under wraps?" Didn't she know who Austin was? He was someone who could find out about anything in Dudore as long as he wanted to. There were no exceptions.
Suzanne massaged the area between her brows as she chuckled. What Charles said was true. It was futile for her to make such a request. She might as well be transparent with Austin.
She curled her lips slightly and shook her head as she pictured Austin nagging at her.
After having a few drinks with the women, Charles took his leave. After all, he had surgery tomorrow, so he had to go hearly to get srest. After Marsha waved Charles goodbye, she continued chatting with Cheryl about the script.
Suzanne sat on the couch, watching the pair silently with a twinkle in her eyes. Spending the night with these few people was quite enjoyable.
the The weather was clear and sunny next day. Cheryl arrived at the address given to her by Marsha Her heart raced subconsciously as she looked up at the production building before her eyes. She put her hand over her chest and took a deep breath. She whispered under her breath, "You can do this."
